I just bought two tri-tip steaks that my brother in law is going to cook up today, I rarely eat red meat though. I buy chicken and ground turkey.

Why would you replace beef? It is the perfect and most delicious animal. It isn't riddled with parasites and disease like pork. It isn't as bland and tasteless like chicken.

80% beef and 20% seafood is how I break down my protein intake.

Far more nutrients in beef then chicken or other white meats/fish.

1. Your point about vitamin A is dumb. You can’t get too much vitamin A from red meat. It’s literally impossible.

2. Research insulin and iron absorption before making a stupid post.

3. I already said I’m not anti-carbs. I’ve had several servings of bread already today. Also bacon, eggs, ground beef, cheese and whole milk. Not 5 steaks.

4. You’re poverty if you can’t afford red meat or you don’t know how to spend your money.

5. You can say red meat is bad for digestive health until you’re blue in the face, but you’re still be wrong. Processed foods and sugar is bad for digestive health.

I’m not advocating to do low carb diet if you’re bulking as a bodybuilder. I sure af have never done that or have gone low carb period. I don’t need to. There’s a certain person with digestive or inflammation issues that would benefit from it. Keto is shown to help people with epilepsy, as well.

I’m simply calling out bullish!t when people say red meat is bad for you.

Pound for pound, one of the best sources of animal protein and fats. May not be the healthiest option but if you want to put mass on fast then red meat is the way to go. For cutting though, I'd stick with protein from fish or chicken because you get quality protein without too many of the calories.

2 lbs of red meat a day, one of the strongest guys on the misc, blood panels are near perfect, and natty. You simply can’t beat beef for muscle gains.

Red meat is overrated

Idiots will listen to roided up meatheads like Stan Efferding and start eating it 3x a day. My LDL got up to 150 when I was following that retarded vertical diet, and got back down to 80 when I reduced it to 3 servings a week.
At this point, we have 200+ studies with greater than 2 million participants and over 20 million person-years of follow up, and 150,000+ cardiovascular events demonstrating a dose-dependent, log-linear association with absolute magnitude of vascular exposure to LDL and risk of ASCVD. Furthermore, we have over 30 randomized controlled trials with 200,000+ participants and 30,000 ASCVD events evaluating therapies designed to lower LDL particle concentrations showing a reduction in ASCVD event rates in proportional to the absolute reduction in blood LDL levels. In the context of the lipid-heart hypothesis, the relationship shown throughout the data is that for every 1 mmol/L or 38 mg/dL reduction in LDL, there’s about a 20% reduction in ASCVD rates. Cardoso 2018 For graphical depictions of this overall body of evidence, see Figures 1 and 2.

The Iron comments are weird. Most men have way too much iron, especially the way bodybuilders eat. If you're not eating red meat you're probably eating other foods that are absolutely loaded with iron such as fish and shell fish and oats, beans, lentils, nuts, tofu, lots of diff green veggies.

I easily get 250% DV of iron on days when I don't touch red meat ( I don't intentionally limit my red meat consumption ).

I donate blood regularly specifically to lower my iron among other things. I got to imagine if you're health conscious enough to limit red meat consumption you're probably increasing those foods i just mentioned which are loaded with Iron so Iron is really not the issue here.

From your own article
however, it should be noted that cardiovascular disease is a complex pathophysiologic process where elevated blood lipids are not the only risk factor (Yusuf 2004),
And is countered by the NIH

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24406106/

Good article that could be titled “Cholesterol for dummies”

https://health.clevelandclinic.org/w...terol-in-food/

You sure your LDL had nothing to do with how you were preparing your food?

https://www.healthline.com/nutrition...t#heart-health

Plus, current research doesn’t show a significant association between saturated fat intake and all-cause mortality or stroke (13Trusted Source, 14Trusted Source, 15Trusted Source, 16Trusted Source, 17Trusted Source, 18Trusted Source).

For example, a 2014 review of 32 studies that included 659,298 people found no significant association between saturated fat intake and heart disease (18Trusted Source).

Look up the effects of COLD PRESSED virgin olive oil especially when it comes to joint support and flushing the thoracic duct. Eat it with everything you can and if you can't then make sure you atleast tablespoon it x2 a day and you'll notice a huge difference in your joints

Peanut oil is also good for the joints but never eaten, needs to be rubbed

It's not. What's vital is getting protein in.

I think it's best to incorporate all types of protein into your diet, specifically from meat.
That way you get all the various micro & macro nutrient profiles by switching up the proteins sources on a regular basis.

Cycle your protein sources in the 21(3x7) main big meals you usually eat in a week

I eat Eggs, Beef, chicken, turkey, fish, shellfish, maybe even some wild gamey meat from time to time.
I try to buy the cleanest and freshest cuts whenever possible - Farm-raised, free range, wild caught etc etc. It doesn't have to be expensive stuff from gourmet stores either.

Try to avoid eating processed meats and foods in general. They're all high in sodium and other garbage.

Throw some veggies, fruit, healthy fats and good sources of complex carbs into your diet and you're good to go.

There are "wild" chickens around here and the first thing everyone says when i show them pictures is wow they are so skinny/small. No they are normal sized and the ones on the farms are pumped full of hormones

All the farm animals we eat are bloat lord mutants, that cant be good for you
