Is the market up overall this year? I cashed out big time in October last year. 2020 was the year of stocks, 2021 is year of crypto. I feel like the market in general is no longer as bullish as it was and is now volatile.

None of what you're talking about is new or exciting. You keep bringing up the exact same arguments.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.coi...s-find%3famp=1

Who knew developing new tech takes time.

The irony is that the high barrier to entry is a major part of what is causing the centralization...which is exactly what happened with BCASH.

Mimblewimble seems to be working pretty well. Will probably have it implemented as a sidechain in the future. Also other sidechain possibilities.

Uhhhh tons of populations are using it just fine breh.

So what's gonna happen if COIN flops hard today? Huge red dump for the entire market? What are the possible scenarios? The weekend is probably going to be brutal regardless if COIN does well or not.

Doge has been pretty resilient from crashes. I’ve using it as a botting coin and it’s been extremely stable as well normally. I knew CB IPO would pump the markets but not this hard. BTC up 5k in a day and everything else up 10-30%. I want to see 70k before the weekend so I can make my stock plays

A slight dip in BTC gains and the whole market crashes down without mercy. Cardano just dumped from 1.55 to 1.40 within 5 seconds right in front of my eyes.

Reminder that you didn't make any profit until you cashed it out. Might be a good idea to sell in small increments as it climbs up. God help us if this whole Coinbase spectacle turns out to be a huge farce.

"crashes" not quite, daily fluctuations in crypto can be upwards of 20%, just normal market movement

There is no way it flops. Im guessing it opens at 250 and people won't be able to actually buy until the 300s, might hit 400. Itll correct itself by EOW but im buying 1500 worth. Ive never done an IPO before and it sounds like it will open mid day? Just going to put a market order in as soon as I can.

If it does flop, id sell everything asap and get into usdc.

I learned the hard way on penny stocks, always take profits when green, ALWAYS. Sell 10% at x profit, 20% at y, 20% at z, save rest unless you see a crash happen. People always hold on way to long on fomo and then get fomo'd.

NGL im a bit of an expert at that.

have a great track record of trades this cycle w timing tops and bottoms. could still get dunked on by the market, but so far im like 30-3.

worst trade in 3 months was selling ENJ at $2.10 a week ago, but i sold to enter a $2.25 which I sold for $3.45 a few hours later.

best trade was riding POLS from $1.50 to $7.40 (its ATH was $7.50, hasnt recovered since, sitting $4.00 rn).

I've missed all the retard pumps tho, like DOGE, TRX, XRP, ADA

The "secret" to my success is timing entries and exits with BTC cycles. BTC movement is like a multiplier on altcoin movement. You dont always get the altcoin movement that you like, but just like surfing, you dont always get a perfect wave, you ride it till it fizzles then back out for the next one, but also dont chase waves and dont try to ride every wave.

my most recent attempt was on a coin at $2.65. Was trying to ride it to $4.50, but BTC movement caused it to fizzle at $3.30, so I sold and currently waiting to re-buy the dip.

Pick 10-15 solid coins (high cap, mid cap and low cap) to follow and trade only those ones. you'll learn the rhythms and know when to enter/exit in profit.

be greedy since it pays off in a bull market, but also be patient in timing your entries. you might only make 1 good trade a week, but thats all it takes.

Finance grad, so maybe it comes easier to some than others. but patience is the main skill and you dont need a degree for that.

This is what i did. I slowly sold as it creeped up. I've watched it jump up then fall back to earth 2-3 times recently and not jumped on it.

I could see a little but of a dump as the news settles.

You only get that if its a contentious hardfork. Looking unlikely at this stage.

In a bull market, I wish it would be contentious since it would just be free money.
