it facilitates weight loss but if you are fat and unhealthy you need to eat the cliche - minimally processed whole foods


and there is growing evidence in favour of keto - not for weight loss compared to a carb-inclusive diet, but for appetite control (this facilitates weight loss/gain as you can binge and feel hungry a lot) and health (feeling better, less crashes, especially for people who are fat)

Calories in/out still remains true for weight gain/loss. Fact

But your food choices can effect mood, energy, hormones, sleep, recovery, appetite/cravings etc etc which can all have effect on body composition and how you feel mentally and physically.
