Actually didnt know what post scarcity was, so had to research it. Very interesting, may read a bit more deeply into it later

That's pretty much what the Star Trek universe is. There's no canonical information that they have Communism. It's just anyone can have an energy generator and you only need deuterium to power up replicators. And if you want a large home or a mansion then you presumably go migrate to one of the Federation Colonies. There was an episode of some old couple living alone in a big house and they had a whole planet to themselves. Riker apparently did that too under the new Picard series.
