Taurus really is hit or miss. The G2 and its variants are great, their beretta copy is good and judge is pretty reliable but other than those I wouldn't recommend any others. Hi points are ugly as sin and aren't comfortable to hold but they go bang every time. A while back I was thinking about getting one of their carbines and bull pup kit. At the time both together were about $500 which is great for a reliable pistol caliber carbine. Not bad looking either

For the longest time I knew Vex and Gix owned a G2C. But you and Jamal were like the gayest fan boys for the G2C and I recall last year your reviews as well as vex’s nod of approval made me buy it.

Again, my above post about G3 > G2C better not be construed as the G2C is trash lol. It’s just the couple things I didn’t like the G3 does WAAAYYYYY better for $40 more.

I wouldn’t name and shame someone for buy a G2C.
Guns are personal decision IMO. Lots of choices so no one should limit themselves. I don't think wheel guns get enough love these days. I've been thinking about switching over to a Ruger LCRx .357 for my carry. Those things are sweet and simple and will fuk up some serious chit with hp.

Run you $600 before tax and shipping for the 9mm version. If it were me I'd go for the 10mm or .45acp

Speaking of getting asked for pics
My daughter gets asked for feet pics by a grown man on Snapchat
My daughter says “how much”, fukin with him
He sends her dick pics

She tells me and the wife
I’m tired and 2 glasses deep into wine
See rage
Tell her she needs to delete that app
Wrong move, she starts balling, says it’s this and that
I explain that there’s other apps
Other daughter says there’s an easy fix, just don’t add rando dudes back
Due to my reaction, chances are she won’t be talking about it with me again

For sure.

I honestly loved the berreta service 9mm in the USMC. a lot of my brothers thought it was too heavy, not as good as glock or whatever. I would have bought a berreta last year but they were way outside of a budget especially atm when we had BLM idiots burning **** in my city I just wanted some protection. Especially since most
Pistol fights are within 10. The accuracy difference on the G2C wasn’t going to be too noticeable. Hell, speed drills with three targets at 10 I’m still center mass with maybe a stray here and there.

Only reason I nearly ended my marriage over the AR honestly. I wanted a rifle for hunting and all hell and you know I was gonna get a AR cause it’s the M16 chassis and 5.56 which we used. Wife said no. Said no cares. Bought it. She saw my doing an initial cleaning and lost her ****. Went over all the Biden approved talking points about weapon of war and I told her to show me we’re the auto fire select was then forced her to go to the range and she realized it wasn’t half of what she had been lied to about and my logic on AR cause of the chassis.

That was a good make up **** session after the range though!!

JR - I don't know if I'm a G2C fanboy, but I'm for sure a "buy what you like" guy. I don't care if it's a $2k 1911 or a $300 G2C. Just make sure there is money for ammo.

Vex - go shoot a .357 outdoors with .357 rounds (not 38 special). It might change your mind about carrying one. The sound that comes out of a .357 wheel gun is debilitating. I've done it with a SW686 with a 4 inch barrel. Ears were ringing for days afterward.

Well, the people who used to live here and hunt the bears said it is definitely bear scat. Black bears will only fight if they have to (like you are between them and their babies) or they are old man bears gone crazy. Apparently there was a blackbear attack here a few years ago. Old man bear gone predatory. How far from my house was the scat... maybe a 15-20 min walk?

I can’t post pics AND I didn’t know how many of you want to look at poopies. I went for another hike today, didn’t see anymore signs of bear. I’m really fukkin loud in the woods so I’m not worried about that. I’m already having to carry a phone and water. I don’t want to bring a gun/horn/pepper. Fukk it. Today I went right off trail just to be dickhole. I always go off trail but now everyone telling me I should hide in a hole is making an even bigger dickhole.

You will get away from the sales tax though which is 8-9% of the sales price depending on location (don't know what it is up there).
I'm about buying and registering in Florida. Around military bases you see plates from all over the country. Alaska, Texas, and California, coast to coast. A lot of military keep their cars registered in their home states or the states of their previous bases. Florida's registration fees are cheap and no inspections required.

Anything larger than a 9mm without ear protection is uncomfortable for me. I'll still shoot a .45 or .223 ( with at least a carbine length barrel) but its not fun. Anything in the 7mm or 300 win mag category I just flat out refuse unless I have some plugs. I'm not ending up like my pops.

I've never shot a 4 inch .357 but my brother has a 6 inch S&W .357 wheelgun and that bitch barks. It would fall under that last category I mentioned

You're not wrong though. They're barbaric guns all the way around between the noise, recoil and muzzle flash plus low ammo capacity. I just like the raw power of them. I've been shooting them since I was 10 so I'm comfortable with the platform but I can definitely see why others don't want to go that route. I'm just old school I guess.

So, my dad was CHP for 30+ years (retired in '96). He carried a .357 for the majority of that time. There was a short window that they went to .38 or 9mm (can't remember) and the end of his career they carried .40.
He made it a habit to purchase his firearms. I have them all still (except the 9mm or .38 that he sold). I used to carry his .357 (loaded with 38 spec) in my truck all the time. Anytime we were out shooting bottles or cans, I would pull it out from under the seat and shoot a little (no ear pro). Then, I had the bright idea to load it with .357 and that's where things went wrong.
I'll still shoot it, but there is no way in hell I'm doing that without ear pro again.

I took my wife one time to the local gun range here at the big mall has 'date night' packages where you can try a bunch of different equipment. 44 magnum wheel gun with an 8" barrel was probably my least favorite, might be because it was my least accurate.

This is an artists rendition

Spoiler!

And hearing protection every time guys, they arent making new ears. I was a moron on mining equipment in my 20s and it gave me a pretty debilitating case of tinnitus until I habituated to it, and my hearing is still dogsh*t. I wouldn't pull out my .223 gopher gun without cans now, I wear them with my bench grinder.

Also, what’s a good handgun caliber other than 9mm? Like what’s a good one to blow a bigger hole in a soda can

Man that's a broad question with a lot of variables. Bigger bullet/more powder = bigger holes if that's all you are after.

.45acp. Not to expensive and blows a bigger hole plus it gives you an excuse to buy a 1911 which is my personal favorite pistol of all time

A ton of different companies make the 1911 but it was originally a John Moses Browning design (PBUH). Rock Island Armory makes a solid budget 1911 and Springfield makes a really good mid range 1911. If you don't know anything about JMB read up on him. He completely revolutionized gun making and a ton of designs and calibers he introduced are still being used today

I remember reading about Jesse James making Damascus steel 1911s out of steel handrails salvaged from a refit on the interior of the statue of liberty.

Spoiler!

I think they were a six figure toy though.

I'm a para O owner but if you wanna get technical about it its actually my wife's gun. I love that thing and can shoot better with it than any of my other pistols. It just feels right in my hands. I think Remington bought out Para so they are the ones making the newer Remington 1911s

Say whatever you want about the guy's personality but he makes some incredible art pieces. His engraving work is crazy.

Well I’ll have to look into em all now that I know a caliber.

Probably just a house piece. My G2C will most likely be tucked hidden downstairs and my G3 will probably take the roll of everyday once I get it next week and fire it but considering I like heavier guns most likely.

I just want a hand cannon. Lol.

He’s just a dumbass for choosing the nazi skank over Bullock.

His work is pretty good though. Just gotta desperate the two.
