Has anyone read Fire and Blood which the prequel House of the Dragon is to be based off of?

If so, is it a good read?

It's literally a history book. Dry and boring af. I made it a couple chapters before quitting.

I mean the whole book series lost steam when the chicks became more involved, their whole story arc was just so drawn out and boring. Sanderson rescued it at the end but it had become borderline unreadable half way through.

The SJW mob is relentless.

The sad thing is "get woke go broke" has happened over and over again especially with male dominated media like video games or sci fi movies/ tv shows. But they refuse to learn their lesson and are afraid of losing their female audience for other shows since the whole company would get boycotted if they don't bow down to the woke mob.

Women make up 80% of consumers so these companies are more than willing to sacrifice male centered franchises unfortunately.

Just watched the entire series and I felt AoT is good but not fantastic. As a non natural anime fan, the show really did drag alot with exposition and dilogue. Liked it so much I even read the manga and I've never read a comic book in my life. The manga just finished last month and this is the ending everyone is referring to. The show is still fine and hopefully gets a different ending. It's not GOT level bad but its not far off either.

Still haven't watched the final season and never will. Read some cliffs which was enough to know it's not worthwhile. Overall just a terrible story.

Read the books and watched up through season 7. What a waste of time.

Supposedly they wanted to move on and do other projects. That's why they didn't want to continue, even though they could have done a couple more seasons. Don't really blame them, 8 years is a long time to spend on one TV show. Still doesn't excuse the poor writing in the end tho

Seasons 1-4 are the best television of all time

If it had ended after season 6 it would have been incredibly annoying at the time but ultimately for the best
