I'm pretty sure hollow point bullets are technically "banned" from warfare as well, which is retarded.
The end goal should be what Farley said, once a weapon can threaten society at large, it should no longer be in civilian hands.

I just came home with the most comfortable chair.
Ekornes Stressless. I’ve wanted one for years. Had an espresso color one picked out for when we moved but wife was complaining about how much the cost.
Well today she got a tummy tuck and they were like you absolutely need a recliner to sleep in so she told me to go buy it. They didn’t have the Large one in the style and color I wanted so got this one but it’s a large so mad comfortable. Comes with a foot rest too that like pivots as you move. Pretty slick. I’m going to sit in it all day and watch James Yeager videos.

Mark and Bill were going at it. They both seem like douches to me but probably have to be a bit to be in this industry at that level fighting for government contracts and stuff.

If you use a regular a2 or mod 0 on a 14.5 to allow that silencer to attach it needs to be an SBR or pistol. This isn't complicated

Googled it and found no information to backup that claim. So either provide some information or stick a fork in it.

A2x doesn’t accept any suppressors that I know of. Neither does a mod 1. I think that’s the point you were trying to make?

Standard A2
BCM Comp Mod 0
Neither of those will bring a 14.5 gun to 16"
A2X/Comp Mod 1, won't allow the Griffin silencer to attach.
If one is going to get either of those muzzle devices (to allow the Griffin to attach), it needs to be a pistol or an SBR.

It's very simple.
If he wants to get one of the currently available BCM muzzle devices to allow the discussed Griffin silencer to attach, it needs to be used as an SBR or a pistol.
The A2 and Mod 0 are not long enough, while the A2X and the Mod 1 are not compatible with the can.
BCM is going to send you an NFA-applies short upper, if that's what you want, just like they'll send you...gasp...an 11.5" upper if that's what you order.
They don't have a built in drop down option for pinning the A2 because that would be retarded.
