Leaned out while remaining around 210-215. Gym was open pretty much the entire time, though. 🤷‍♂️

The chitty thing is gyms are open here but all indoor group classes are restricted which means no boxing or bjj.

I can manage my weight super easily when I'm boxing on a reg but not with just lifting alone.

Covid made me twinkmax. I lost a pretty solid amount of weight, including muscle. The gym was closed & so were all the restaurants here (LA cuck) & I used to eat out all the time. On the plus side, I learned to cook at home so my food bill's way lower.

Fuk. I'm jealous of people that lose weight when they stop lifting. I usually get fat as fuk

Yep, I was 215 before COVID and by like 90 days into lockdowns last year(I also was in Thailand in December which didn't help) I was up to 260. Awful feeling to go from legit chad status to a guy who gets no pussy.

How do you motivate yourself to run? It's so fuking boring I can't be fuked unless I'm running to improve performance in other sports.

Well, I was in Thailand for a month and eating fast food every day, so 15 or so was probably from that trip. But then I got home and lockdowns happened immediately after and was just eating pizza and sitting around all day. I was pretty messed up in the head at the beginning of COVID, because it killed all my momentum with workouts and earning. Not too sure what I was eating(that time is kind of a blur in my mind) but probably pizza and other bullchit. I definitely wasn't cooking much.

Nope, I weighed myself today, 223. Still want to get down to about 215 again, but definitely happy with things currently. Have been cutting hard since March 1st, and finally am starting to see the results I wanted. Awesome feeling, because I've been trying to get here for like 9 months now and finally gained the mental toughness to do it.

Lost weight.

I maintained for a while due to decent consistency with the gym and adding cardio as part of my routine starting in 2020 coincidentally, however alcohol consumption kept me heavier for a time. I remember being around 175 lbs for a while at my peak of being unfit during COVID, probably by Novemberish 2020.

Started getting weight loss when I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed and couldn't really eat much for a few days as a result of it. Started packing away some more pounds not too long after that dip though. Eventually went a couple of months sober from alcohol which made a huge impact over a long term considering how I wasn't consuming thousands of alcohol oriented Calories on a weekly basis anymore. Got down to 155 lbs around a week or 2 ago. Currently still refraining from the older ways of my alcohol consumption, keeping me around the lower 160's / upper 150's.

Nice. Just a couple weeks of psmf should bring you right back down to 215.

Yeah, now that weather seems like it will be consistently nice I'll be biking every day. Will likely get there by June 21.

At least you don't have to lose 40+ lbs like some of us had to in here.

You figure alcohol makes you gain weight? I always thought people gain weight from drinking because of the chit they eat when they drink (unless you are downing 6 packs of beer daily)

Even when I tried to be clever with drinking, the numbers don't lie. A shot of liquor is still 90 Calories - 100 Calories by itself. If you take on 3 shots, without any soda/chaser, still ends up being roughly 300 Calories. That could've instead gone towards some eggs, or chicken and some rice. But no its empty Calories, or otherwise even worse, heavier carby Calories if you drink beer. If you only drink one or two drinks a day, it doesn't matter as much. But if you're like I was trying to get pharked up off of 4-6 drinks then you might as well call it a cheat day, or an additional meal you shouldn't have consumed in excess.

Now imagine continuing this behavior over a longer term, and you start realizing you're consuming thousands of empty/carby Calories per week unnecessarily, as opposed to nutrient enriched Calories.
