I fukd up. While waiting for skyward sword ive been going through some other stuff.
Finished hades, next up was ori.

Plan was to play both ori’s. I was convinced that will of the wisps was the first game and not the sequel.
Played it, loved it, beat it. Then found out it was actually the sequel - idiot me.

Can i play ori and the blind forest? Or will it just seem like a backwards step and lacklustre after playing the sequel.
Did i goof?

Doubtful. I am guessing $399 (which technically is 300+ but you know what I'm saying).

They have the lite for the kids and cheap option, they can afford to hike the price for the console-handheld version now.

it'll be probably like the New 3DS where only a very small part of games is exclusive to the "new" system

or the Expansion Pack for N64, only a handful of games actually required it lol

Nice good to know that's a possibility, because although Nintendo doesn't have a TON of games, the first party games it has are top tier and worth it. I still see my switch as very strong, and a few years before they should release a new console.

to be clear that's just my thoughts based on what they've done in the past

for N64 without an Expension Pack you couldn't play Majora's Mask, Donkey Kong or Perfect Dark though

so there will probably still be a chance you'll miss out on A+ titles...

I was on the fence for a long time about SS but I'm gonna get it and give it a try

I (rage) quit on the Wii back in the day since I couldn't stand the motion controls so I'm ready to give it another chance now lol

but first....

I got the regular Switch, Switch Lite, PS5, PS4 Pro, and an Oculus Quest.

I will buy the next Super Switch aswell.

Ahh I see now. That's exactly what I don't want but if I have to, i'll just sell my switch and upgrade. I just still have so many games I have to finish first (Mario 3D all stars, super mario world + bowsers fury, super mario maker, luigis mansion, BOTW. Fuark

I see with that being said I really hope on the Switch version we can play it with minimal motion controls. There's nothing like just sitting with your gamepad playing!

That game has a lot of hype everywhere! Not a golf fan but I assume it being a mario game it's going to be very fun

Not at all. Nintendo is going to have to keep everything available to the many Switch Lite's they have sold and will keep selling.

Pro is probably just going to be larger screen, faster and ability to play 4k. Hopefully, 256GB+ of internal memory for fuk's sake.

Right now ps and Xbox are gonna **** over people by forcing them to upgrade but Nintendo isn’t trying to make games on that scale so why obliterate all your switch customers and lite ones. Just make it an optional upgrade.

Plus game companies are finding out that Nintendo doing the hard disks actually doesn’t hinder the games a lot. It’s just the switch performance pieces that need some upgrades and that’s what I think the pro switch will fix to avoid some of the lagging in some port overs (like persona 5 strikers)

well chit right now sony and microsoft are making their games cross-gen anyhow and those are 2022 game releases..

It will be easy for nintendo to keep producing games for both consoles despite it being a 720/1080 console vs a "4k" console. I guess i'm saying nintendo doesn't really PUSH its consoles to their limits graphically (exception is botw cause that game had some fps issues in spots) The big question would be third party developers who might not want to make their game for the older switch..

Right now they are sure. But it usually only lasts a year before Xbox and ps cut the cord on ps4 and Xbox one games.

Stopping production on the old switch isn’t the same as long as the new games work on the old switch. If you can run your old switch into the ground while playing the new games that’s still a good move on Nintendo’s part.

But I wouldn’t bank on ps and Xbox making cross gen games for long. Guilty gear is making the new one ps5 and Xbox s prioritized even with the game being on the 4 and one.

World 3 in Mario 3D Land

The platforms getting trickier but love the catsuit agility. Only one I don’t like playing as much is Toad.

I gave up on Hollow Knight due to frustration and level confusion.
Ori I’m determined more so because the story.

Am I the only one that prefers the old school Zeldas over BOTW? It doesn't even feel like a Zelda game, more like an Elder Scrolls game in the Zelda universe.

I like both, I think there is room for both. I imagine BOTW2 will be along the lines of BOTW, I'm really hoping they are also making a new "classic" style Zelda as well (more linear, epic dungeons).
