Pretty much agree with everything except the last line about society and prostitutes. Yeah, I agree. Even if she did change into the perfect wife, it's still natural for a man to wonder if it's a permanent change or if she will go back to how she was. And even if it was permanent, there is emotional trauma and baggage that would come up forever, that you would have to be ok dealing with. I would never choose to deal with any of it...

I think part of my thought process comes from having kids. I've seen a lot of young people make mistakes with lasting consequences. My kids are getting into their teenage years and two of the biggest lessons I hope I can impress on them are #1-choices have consequences and #2-I'll always love you, and no mistake is too great to overcome.
