Nuke prank

So my brother sent me a video of people getting pranked about the US getting targeted by misles, fell down a rabbit hole of a bunch of other families getting pranked, loads of panic, confusion, or just plain just sitting down to wait for death. Question came to mind, in case of an attack, what are we supposed to do? Are we ready or gonna be safe? Most city bros look like would just ldar and wait for it to hit.

Depends on where you live, most nukes today probably aren't massive ones like in the cold war and if you don't live in or really close to a major city or important target you will probably be ok, at least for a few hours until the fallout reaches you.

I actually thought I got nuked for 1/2 a second when there was a daylight lightning bolt into my tree without rain. That flash of light flooded everything out, crazy

Similar experience, it was at night though. My whole room lit up from the lightning, scared me for second thinking we might be under attack or something, and then I realized it lightning.

It is a sobering feeling for that split second. There was an airshow where they were dropping bombs or doing something with fire. Me and my friend in HS were leaving at night and saw this huge explosion off in the distance. Lit up entire sky bright white/orange. We both in that second knew we were going to die because it looked exactly like what we imagined a nuke going off would look like. Figured out it wasn't a few seconds later because we were still alive.
