The guy literally plead guilty to sex trafficking, and part of the case was that he and the crew physically prevented the girls from leaving and threated to sue them if they changed their mind.

'Sex trafficking' can be charged just if you buy them a ticket to cross statelines for sex. They meet the definition because they 'coerced' them to have sex through telling them lies.

A 'kill fee' is standard even in normal porn. You incurred cost and then they back out in the middle, a lot of companies in and outside porn want compensation. Why would you pay for their flights home if they didnt do anything for your company?

If you read the civil trial notes it was only 1 or 2 that 'claimed they were physically prevented from leaving' or barricaded the doors thats why they say 'other victims'. The evidence for that is seemingly flimsy and he took a guilty plea hoping for 7 years so doesnt mean much.

They were found guilty of coercion/fraud because of the lies they told even in the civil trial. So just based on the lies they told about it being sold on dvd only. So yes they meet the definition of sex trafficking.

Thats a lot different than what most people think about when they hear sex trafficking.

Sex trafficking doesnt require force.

No found, but guilty is wrong word. There was two trials a civil and a criminal.

In the civil trial he was found 'guilty' of coercion/fraud by the judge only based on the lies they told, he didnt take into account any of the other supposed claims.

So based on that it would be likely he would have been found guilty in the criminal trial for sex trafficking as they already meet the definition of it by coercion/fraud alone. It is likely that is why he plead guilty.

I dont believe they get charged multiple times for sex trafficking i.e. 1. For coercion, 1 for fraud, 1 for force. The charge is for sex trafficking. So there is just one guilty plea. Tho i havent read about the recent criminal trial.

I read the civil one like 3 years ago or so when it happened.

My perspective is the vast majority of the girls their only problem was about the lies about it being on dvd and thats why are so upset.

Yet even for those girls they blame GDP for their bf breaking up with them etc and told this sob story to the civil judge about when the videos leaked their bfs found out. They then went into depression. But they still cheated on their boyfriends even if the alternative is the boyfriend never finds out. Yet they put the blame on their relationship problems because their cheating wasnt kept secret lmao

Included in the case is those 1 or 2 girls saying they were literally forced to continue (like the article states), meaning they were raped.

So this guy plead guilty to forcing those 1 or 2 girls.

Looking over that is callous. You seem to be focusing on the "It was only supposed to be on DVD" girls (the misc seems to be doing that too), whereas I'm focusing on the girls who were raped.

I don't know why the misc really seems to think that an industry based around sex, wouldn't genuinely have incidents of forced sex. That's really naive.

No since the case is covering their operations as a whole so most people in the thread is laughing at what the most common complaint the MAJORITY of girls had which is about the lies. Look at this thread everyone is mocking them for falling for the lies. No one is talking about forced acts but you, yet you are trying to say people are laughing at them for being forced.
