I would tell myself in your position to wait. I'm guessing the bottom will be in by the end of August (just a guess, I'm not guaranteeing).

I'm no expert, and it's your money.

Dollar Cost Averaging is your friend. Smart Contract Platform coins are good to DCA into e.g. ETH, DOT, ADA, SOL, etc. Good luck.

There is a relationship between crypto and other financial assets.

If you can time it good for you, that is why it's almost smart to have cash on the side ready, but if you're wrong and the market doesn't go down for 1-2 years you will be way behind.

Give us this fud during a real bear market. Some of you mofos would be shtting yourselves. We would be sitting a $10k right now.
Sheeeit this same fud mid 2018 would put btc <$2k. They have thrown the kitchen sink to get that btc price down. This market is pretty damn strong imo, considering...

yes technically it does feel like 2018 crash - but there's totally different macro stuff going on. i'd be cautious buying dips below 28-30k tbf.

Bitcoin might not have fallen under $30k yet, but there is still no sign of a reversal. The total crypto marketcap is still bleeding out. Many alts have to go through BTC/ETH to get back to cash, so those trades will temporarily keep those 2 afloat a little longer, but still not a good sign that BTC dominance is creeping back up while BTC has also gone down from $65k to now hovering in the $30ks.

Couldn't even get it below 31k this time. Alts bleeding out as expected.

BTC is actually starting to look like it's priming for a run up. Need more alt capitulation first.

Because if it breaks 30k area, it'd mean that there are more big sellers than buyers in the market- which won't paint a pretty picture for btc.

But nothing in trading is definite...It's always like an if-else statement.
