My concern with a girlfriend riding would be safety. If I wanted kids with her, it would be very irresponsible imo.
Also it’s very masculine and I prefer more a women to have more ‘girly’ hobbies, so if the desire to get a bike came out of the blue for an otherwise feminine woman, that would be a minor issue to me as well.
