There's no division of any kind in politics like what U.S. has, people have great lives and no one cares about what the government does beyond certain specific policies that might affect daily life. There's a reason why Aussies are happy in general, it's like one of the few last paradises left on this planet.
I am not sure what you mean by saying that we are cucked because we are far less cucked as citizens than you are, getting absolutely demolished by either far left, far right, crime, illegal immigrants and increasing poverty while we are sippin that drink on the beach and watching the chit show from distance like it's like tv show. You are more than welcome to keep your guns as well, I am more than happy to see people with beer in their hand than some moron with a gun and a short temper. I mean I know it's normal for you but we joined 21st century long ago, we are more than happy to live in a society without seeing idiots on the streets with guns.
I know you won't get it but it's all g fam, we don't really need too much attention. If people knew how good life is here we'd see you motherfukers coming here in boats.
Policies that might affect daily life... you mean like being locked down for 18 months and counting?

What does global Covid policy has to do with Australia's standards of living and quality of life compared to other nations? And even then, we hardly seen any lockdowns here, maybe in Victoria and little bit in NSW but it's a fraction compared to what we've been seeing across the world. I mean, I am from Sydney but I live in Perth now, we've had maybe a week or lockdowns here in the last 18 months, maybe 3 weeks of masks in total, we are laughing here. Life is good.

This whole thread is about covid lockdowns in Australia. When you don’t keep the political system in check, you get treated this way.

Are you even allowed to travel internationally and return to Australia?

Good luck watching that from aus
The gov and mainstream media have done a great job scrubbing the worldwide anti lockdown protests from Australian eyes.

Australia is having lockdowns in states with no deaths in over a year. They currently even have lockdowns in states with no current active cases. Yeah, it's totally about the disease and not another agenda, lol.

My favorite it is the elephant on the front lawn logic people use when you state countries like this are breaching basic freedom for no justified reason.

I'm no conspiracy theorist but I'm in agreement that for any person with a functioning relationship with reality, this can really be about the virus anymore.

I remember reading somewhere that the most effective police states are ones where the citizens police each other. I've had one person fire up at me for walking into a servo at the dead of night and not immediately putting my mask on, and whilst walking around with not another soul in sight, had cars slow down and squeal "Mask! Mask! Mask!" at me, like I'm some sort of outcast or criminal.

NZ rsv outbreak is the perfect example of this. Hospitals now full of sick babies.

Try having a civil conversation with a boomer about the lockdowns and vaccine

They brought all the media fear mongering hook line and sinker

The irony of this comment when you see the location.

Quite possibly the most cucked state in Australia behind Victoria during this whole situation. And you idiots still voted for the same lady again hahahahaha.

The price from flying from New York to Australia, normally $2500, is now $70,000.

COVID unironically is the dumbest time in human history. The average and even above average IQ person has fallen hook, line and sinker for this incredibly obvious scam. Otherwise smart people actually believe this chit. I salute the geniuses who are profiting off it.

nobody is actually going to pay 70k for a ticket that's a deterrent for people to leave the country and airlines are going to be begging for a couple of billion handout again in a couple of months.

I was watching some international news and LOL at how politicians are just blatantly fear mongering and flat-out lying.

Over in Australia, one drops the subtle hint: "Only 9% vaccinated". Then says if more don't get vaccinated THOUSANDS... YES... THOUSANDS may die. There hasn't even been ONE thousand deaths since this farce started, and that's with INFLATED figures. They have even more protocols and preparations but all of a sudden, THOUSANDS? So even worse than before you were prepared or knew?

She then says ICUs will be overrun. What? STRAIGHT UP LIE. They aren't overrun now, where is she getting all of this prophecy information?

We are just witnessing unrestrained corruption and falsehoods now. It's happening everywhere, and NO it's not a PANDEMIC anymore. Another fear-mongering buzzword.

Such an embarrassing time to be alive. Imagine jabbing yourself 2x a year for something that ISN'T killing anyone where you live and even where it is @ such a trivial rate. You can't even use the logical fallacy that it's vaccines because only 9% have had it yet basically Australia is more than fine.

Take countries like Sweden who even said NO to any form of lockdowns and they still only had moderate figures.

Lying politician scum never being held accountable is nothing new, but this is on a public and large scale now, even with the facts 1 click away they are still lying and ANY major news outlet or public figure are too scared to call them out. All a front to change laws and have more censorship, monitoring and control over a population that has more means to seek untainted information.

You should see some of the guilt trip ad campaigns in many countries over this vaccine. Ranked #11 for global pandemics yet a Rank #1 push by miles.

What's the end game? You can't eliminate covid, so what forever now we just shutdown countries for weeks and months when someone flys in and coughs? Yeah so deadly that the majority of people don't even know they have it. One of the smallest global death counts and infection death rate pandemic in centuries that's basically flattened nearly everywhere except for places like India which have more problems than Covid to worry about.

If it wasn't for the news and their obsession with every single Covid case, would anyone even know there was anything out of the ordinary?

At some point we just have to come to grip with the fact that the lowest common denominator is the majority - and we’re at their mercy in chit like this because they’re literally too stupid to take care of themselves. I’ve already made my peace….fuk most people very srs.
