You can adjust the OLED brightness is setting, mines at 80.

I swapped in a new motherboard and CPU (MSI Tomahawk x570 & Ryzen 5900x w/ Liquid Arctic II Frozr 360) into my current setup, but still on EVGA's waiting list for a 3000 series GPU... any day now lol.

The OLED Brightness setting is used when watching HDR content. It will boost up to that treshold. If you have it reduced to 80 you wont get the most out of your new OLED.

Upgraded everything but graphics card. Running classic WoW at max it’s about 70% load and 65-70. CPU is like 5% while multitasking. What’s the max I could go on graphics before it’s too much in terms of temp and load

What kind of desks you guys rocking? Particularly those with big or L shaped desks.

I have my pc on a simple tabletop desk from Amazon it's ok. Second pc is on some fugly ass 2 level desk that's really small.

Wanna get em both set up one on one big one or two similar/identical.

I have a racing sim setup coming and I want to put my TV on the desk I'm using now for the racing games. Trying to make my game room fun since covid is over and homies and families Gunna be coming over alot.

Joining raffles for the 3080Ti just for the lulz.
If I get one it goes straight on our version of craigslist.
Minimum 2k.

My 3080 that I ordered on launch day is estimated in stock in September this year.
You heard that right, almost one year later.

So glad I bought a better 3080 as a waiting card.

Huawei releasing MateView 28" 3:2 ratio monitor, 3860x2560 resolution.

Looks very neat for working on.
Too bad the current version doesn't have vesa mounts. Would've enjoyed changing out my 2x27" stack for 2x28 3:2s.

I have an electric standing desk with a simple wooden top for now, but this summer im going to find a nice tree to turn into a 2 inch or so thick resin river desk

Love my sit-stand desk, can make the ergo's perfect for gaming as well as occasionally raise it to stand for a bit while ****ing around

Are you kidding me?

Got an email today telling me that my 3080 that was ordered on launch isn't available anymore and my order has to be cancelled, but we got some other 3080s in stock and we will offer one of them to you for the price of your original order.

So today I got myself a $870 USD RTX 3080 after tax, $650 before tax.

So, now I have to choose between keeping it for my second gaming pc, or flipping it off for 2k usd....
The problem with selling GPUs is that you have to re-buy into the insane market for older cards.

Seems like public selling RTX videocard prices are starting to decline in my country (NL). Retail sellers are still wayyyy up (bout 2K €)
3080 ti's available for €1550 (1847 USD)
3090's available for €1900 (2264 USD)

It wasn't on prime sale but after spending half my day on Amazon I decided to pull the trigger on a goxlr and a new audio technica mic.

I've had a blue yeti for a few years and it's honestly crap now for wheatever reason. People I play with complain I cut out constantly and my mute button broke so whatever. Decided to upgrade everything.

Picked up that LG 27" 144hz 1440p monitor, should be arriving today. $308 shipped, all time low price and it has stellar reviews, should pair well with my current dell monitor.
I haven't gotten the itch to jump to 4k yet so this monitor should serve me well for a while.

I have an acer predator ultra wide and it's Def awesome. I paid like 5x that when it launched lmao feels bad man. The 3 series cards can drive them perfectly now too.

How is it compared to the LG cx.... Aside from the burning retinas of course lolol

I treated myself and upgraded my mic setup. Audio technica at2035 mic and a goxlr.

The goxlr is awesome but it Def doesn't drive my headphones (250ohm dt990 pro) very well. It's pretty good but my sound blaster ae7 sound card is way way better so I am just using the goxlr for the mic input now basically. Still fun for sampling, and controlling the audio levels is really nice. But for sure beware if you're driving a studio headset it may not be enough.

It's not an oled but it's a damn good looking screen and I can play it or sit on the couch and play the oled

Very high contrast and low input lag

Since I got my 3080 in my rig I've been having crashing issues, blue screens, games crashing with no errors (OW, COD, CSGO, even Runescape)...
I've reinstalled windows twice.
I've reinstalled the drivers more times than I can count.
I've used DDU, I've used google-fu...

Some time ago I read about the LTSC versions and how stripped down they were. Yesterday was a breaking point after CSGO started exiting without any errors during a match.

Will be interesting to see if the LTSC version will be better with less M$ junk.
The overall fluidity of the system is already much better. In addition to running LTSC 2019 and the latest updates I did tweak it withprivacy.sexywhere I selected the limitations which seemed appropriate. (And the LTSC 2019 version will receive updates til 2029 so that's not a problem)

I've always bought all my cat6 cables form ebay. They're ****ing dirt cheap and I have never had an issue with a single one. Have literally bought dozens between personal use and for work.

Nice. I've moved into this house a while back and the entire time I've been planning out hardwiring my 3 rigs but life happens. I bought a switch and these cables, I already checked out the attic and I'll be able to drop 3 lines right where I want them straight from the router, let the mesh handle the other 40 devices.

Why do you have 3 rigs out of curiosity? I wanted to build another rig but honestly have no need for a second rig but am trying to find an excuse lol
