I've never seen a vocal atheist who wasn't embittered about the subject

You also chose probably the worst representation of Christianity you could find in KC

It is a better answer because it's an accurate one. Nobody knows how the universe actually was created or if it were created by some other being in another universe, or if it were even created at all etc. Nobody can possibly know that.

I'm not saying all Christians are bad people. I happen to really like Mr Rogers for example, and he was religious. My brother is religious, and he's one of the best people I know. And in the OP, I was attacking whatever the fuk Ken Copeland is that represents everything wrong with modern religion.

There are other stories of people doing worse things in the Bible.

You cannot claim to understand scripture unless you study it in sincerity.

Instead, you look for weird chit to parade around on the internet like every other edgy internet atheist.

Not sure why you use this forum when you don't even lift and you'd fit right into the hivemind of reddit.

In fact, I'd reckon your entire worldview and belief system is based off of reddit.

Well that's fine. I'm just not a fan of those who get too arrogant in their insistence that other theories are wrong of the creation of the universe, and perhaps "God" are wrong (getting more into the weeds about whether various scriptures are "the word of God" or other things, is a completely different story).

The other HYPOTHESES lack any supporting evidence. They also aren't as useful because the other stuff that comes along with them usually includes already discredited models of reality, such as a very young Earth, etc.

My favorite one is how it says God created the Earth before light. Yikes. That's way off. No mention of quark gluon plasma and electroweak unification in the bible? RIP.

Bruh you have an incomplete picture of what people believe. You've had deists since the 18th century and rationalists far before that who easily believe in scientific discoveries without it conflicting with their faith. In fact, many of them believe that these discoveries are just another part of creation.

But I'm not going to get into this because people have been getting into religious arguments on internet forums for decades and it often goes nowhere. There is an R&P section anyways where you can troll on.

There are plenty that are far different. Taosim? imo they probably have the best (though very vague) conception of the creation of the universe.
In Taoism the universe springs from the Tao, and the Tao impersonally guides things on their way.

I mean IDK enough about most Eastern religions to even remotely comment, but I do know the whole ancient Chinese medicine is a load of horsechit. Anything in there remotely useful has already been identified [ie certian properties of herbs etc].

Well would it surprise you to know that there was a period where light didn't exist? Yikes bro. That means God didn't exist prior to electroweak symmetry breaking. Big oof.
