Belief in a diety is an immensely comforting gift. Certain people are unable to delude themselves into such belief, like physically and mentally impossible.

I don’t think anyone who believes in “God” is dumb and some of the smartest people I know are religious.

It’s pretty fuking obvious that reality is an unreal hellscape of misery, confusion, and torment and that there’s no meaning whatsoever. And that we can never ascertain the ground level truth of existence or determine how the universe actually began.

Why is it claimed so clearly in John yet not in the others?

That's great, but if you could lower your defences down for a moment and have a quick discussion that would be appreciated, all i want is your opinion.

The gospels are the account of Jesus life, why is it that the MOST IMPORTANT fact (him being God) is barely mentioned if at all in most of these accounts, but is mentioned as clear as day in John.

The snyoptic gospels were written using circulating oral stories about Jesus, why is it that these stories of Jesus life do not state CLEARLY that he is God?
