It'd be hard to argue any of these, but I think MJ has the highest vertical ever recorded by an NBA player. It's been analyzed in Youtube videos where he clearly can jump with his head above the rim. And his hands were very wide and long compared to his body size, one of the largest ratios in NBA history. Not to mention no one else in his family was very tall, and he was rarely injured.

From the stories I've heard about Wilt Chamberlain though, he probably takes the cake. Surprisingly strong for his size and very fast.

Bo Jackson exceled at two sports, definitely should be on there. I might even replace Tyson with Deion Sanders.

Lebron James, rarely hurt, can't stand the guy, but he could have been an NFL receiver too. Freak of an athlete.

Shaq...I just wish he worked harder to reach his full potential.

MJ isn't even close to highest vertical. Lmao.

Love Owens but the advancements in today's tech and even the human body is different than compared to even the 20-30's. He'd struggle to make the Olympic team

Tyson is the most overrated boxer of all time. I love the man, but he isn't even a top 10 heavyweight, but absolute casuals think he is the goat across all weight classes. It's absurd.

This is very true unfortunately. He had the gifts to be a top 5 HW tho. He couldn't last even in today's era a HE either tho, he's too short

I agree with OP’s list, but I’d definitely take Tyson out & swap in MJ for the # 3 spot. I’d also possibly swap out Shaq for Herschel Walker, but it’s debatable.

Not only did he have the highest vertical, other than MAYBE Wilt Chamberlain, he also likely had the longest hang time, nearly 1 second.

MJ's vertical was never measured at his peak performance either. Maybe do a little research.

Maybe pick people who have achieved proper athletic feats like Usain Bolt instead of a tall guy who can put a ball through a hoop. Let me know when Shaq or Lebitch can do something like this

That’s a really cool video but just I’m a low-level stunt man & a really good natural athlete, but I can do a lot of these things. Ik people who are better at tricking & martial arts than this dude.

Lebitch or Shaq would still cuck all of us or the guy in that video in a fight, pick-up game, or most other sports just based on sheer size/height/power.

Mike Tyson deserves massive props for becoming WBC champ at 20 years old, but his career became tainted and he ended up losing 6 (5 by KO).

Lennox Lewis would be a better pick for me as although he lost twice he was able to avenge both times. Best all-rounder at heavyweight imo.

In all sports, Usain Bolt was just a freak of nature. Fastest ever living man and he was strolling on lap times that other sprinters couldn't get close to.

They have weight classes for a reason, dumbass. I have plenty of experience fighting. I’ve competed in boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, & TKD.With a few years of training, I guarantee Lebron could beat Khabob. No matter how long he trains, Khabob will never beat Lebron in bball.

Just LOL at leaving out Cristiano Ronaldo. Some of you nerds should try watching other sports instead of living in your own world when making these lists.

Agree that Ronaldo is incredible, but he's not head and shoulders above the competition. Lionel Messi has the most Ballon d'Or wins at 6.

Then you go back a few years and you have players like Ronaldinho and even the original Ronaldo who it could be argued are some way ahead of him.

I'm not sure I could put a soccer player as a gifted athlete above the ones listed. Yes, they're athletic. They run around a lot, need to be quick, with ball skills, and understand the game mentally. But they don't exactly require much power or strength in their sport. Their chance for injury due to lack of contact is low as well. Injury resistance is what made a lot of athletes great compared to their peers. Which makes them gifted. Athletes like Gale Sayers or Tracy McGrady could be on this list, but injuries ruined em.

skill, determinization and a love for the game and never needed the roids to get here he did.

I bet Sugar Ray Robinson wasn't on anyone's "list." I believe he still holds the best record in boxing, pound-for-pound.

Simone Biles, Venus Williams and Amanda Nunes would be on anyone's list, as well.
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!
