This is barely a bull run. More like a small rally. We're still sub 50k so i would be accumulating like a mad man. Buying between 30k and 40k wasn't the challenge. The challenge is telling yourself to take profits and walk away when BTCwasat 65k and when it inevitably runs up to 100k.

Bought my first NFT this morning. Tory Lanez put a little EP out as an NFT for $1 (for 7 songs). I was like fuk it, bought 10 of them because i collect vinyl records too and those are like $25 a hit. Paying $10 worth is like a normal album price, plus in the off chance these are worth something significant in the next decade, i'll have extras.

honestly i feel like it depends on what the markets do between the last week of august and second week of september. that's when people speculate the stock market is going to correct big.

btc has yet to fully decouple from SPY so i honestly believe we bounce around these 45k/3k numbers for the next few weeks.

such a tough call. all i know is that i love kucoin. it has good volume, reliable as hell, no kyc, and seems to be a tier below the exchanges that get all the heat. they should benefit from any regulatory heat on exchanges above them. obviously that will change eventually but the cucks in congress still dont have their marbles enough to know wtf a "kucoin" is. lmao kucoin wins in my book at least this fall season. as far as my portfolio goes, i wish i could hold kcs. i just dont have enough conviction on it. i think i have my horses lined up for the most part. mostly in "now we wait" mode outside of some small moves here and there. some defi juggling, etc

yeah im of this mindset as well. i think i was listening to a bitboy clip that i had to eventually turn it off. he was saying something about we only had 7 weeks to get the bull run in so he expected aggressive moves coming fast. and i think it was due to a combination of things like historical bull runs, whales, and negative macro-level economic events or some sht

dont get me wrong, we have some HUGE macro level economic sht looming over the next...hell, several months to couple years, we just cant predict anything there. but the fact is that our overlords are going to decide what happens with btc. and the fact is that our overlords have bought in HEAVILY in the range that we currently sit in (some have DCA'd im sure) and they arent in the business of losing money or breaking even. that fact alone is enough for me... im going to ride their coat tails.

our biggest concern is what has been mentioned in a few recent posts. when sht starts to get hot, we are going to have to make some decisions. that greed will become a big factor as always.

female miscer who works for them in PR awared me on it. been watching them for a couple weeks. wish I bought earlier, but on the 6th or something, Lil Pump tweeted them and they jumped due to new exposure.

anyway. it's a new project, launched May 2021. and they're going into beta launching this month with 10 creators to start. including LEOLULU from Pronhub. Y'all know who that is.

Basically the project is decentralized Onlyfans where creators keep 100% of their earnings. Still low cap, they just broke over 82M market cap today.

sooooo kinda interesting development on the NFT Music Album thing. I noticed you could buy up to 25,000 copies at once for $1 each which I thought was weird. That made me want to find out how many there were in total. Did some digging and found out there were 1,000,000 total copies of this album made.

Initially I thought they wouldn't sell all those copies, but then I realized I alone had 10. Then i looked on spotify and saw even the schitty songs on his last album streamed 9million times, and the hits streamed over 100million times. So I went and bought 40 more copies of the project for $40.

"Album went live" at 5pm Eastern. Signed in to listen to it a few minutes ago and:

As for the album itself, it's definitely mid. These are clearly some "didn't make the album" singles he threw together to test this NFT idea, but holy schit this kinda reminds me when Napster went from digital theft to legit and offered the first "streaming" platform.

I'm extremely curious to see how this morphs the music industry. On traditional streaming platforms, per stream artists get Spotify - $0.00437 | Tidal - $0.01284 | Apple Music - $0.00783

I'd bet any money he probably kept 80 to 90 cents for every album sell on this platform, but there's a limited quantity. Does he pre-buy his own album to then resell on the NFT market? Does he release some insane 1,000 copies only album to create an insane bid war that would surely result in some 5 figure sale numbers? I don't know but the fact that he essentially "went platinum" with a bullschit album which is hard to do for a good artist with a good album is pretty shocking. There's no doubt this is gonna cause a tidal wave of additional artists doing the exact same thing. Welp, now i sit with 50 copies of the worlds most underwhelming project, but it's sold out... Market place for resale opens in 2 weeks. Let's see how this goes lol

If bitcoin is rat poison squared then NFT's are cyanide to the 8th root. I own $60k worth of NFT's that are pretty liquid, but I need to put emphasis on the liquidity side.

Just when I thought crypto couldn't get any crazier or more risky it gets turned up to fukn 11 in this clown market. I keep seeing things like pixelated jpeg dogs going for $20k and it sounds crazy until you realize its just normal market dynamics. Something is worth whatever else someone is willing to pay for it, and a lot of the times its worth whatever you can sell back to yourself.

brb mint nft for free minus the cost of gas. brb sell nft back to myself for $9k. brb list nft for $4k. brb some brainlet buys nft for $4k. brb just printed $4k out of thin air and the brainlet thinks they are getting a good deal. brb brainlet goes to sell nft. brb nft not even worth the cost of gas so it goes unsold for eternity.

A lot of people are aping in heavy into these NFT's completely unaware that there is going to come a time when there are absolutely zero buyers. Unless the NFT comes with some type of utility or incentive it will likely not even be worth the gas for the transaction. Looking at some of the chain data it looks like a lot of these nfts are just people selling between their burner accounts to astroturf demand. If anyone was around during 2017 you will probably remember the crypto kitty craze and how badly and quickly that tapered off. Even now during the NFT bubble I imagine people are having a very difficult time unloading those things while liquidity is pretty high.

Overall just fukn lol at NFT's. Biggest scam since beanie babies and arguably 10x worse. Going to try and dump my NFT portfolio over the next several weeks which consists of game assets for an unreleased MMO. Might end up rebuying them closer to launch for hopefully way cheaper.

Thats exactly what I have. You wouldn't catch me buying some axie infinity mobile game peter puffs. Game looks boring, everyone says its boring, plus its expensive to play. Minecraft sold for $2.5B and kids go apechit over that game and still do to this day. Axie is trading at close to like 7x that lmfao. I would honestly be surprised if people are still playing it two years from now. I bought $5k worth of basically minecraft themed mmo nfts and they are now going for $60k and I know its probably overvalued to an extent. Anything more and its bordering on the size of warcraft. Lots of people are putting the cart in front of the horse, but not just by a few feet, they are putting the cart in fkn Mesopotamia.

The NFT is only as valuable as its liquidity. If you cannot sell it, its worth nothing. You will never convince me a stickman is worth 32 eth until I can see that there is a legitimate buyer and not some art tier money laundry scam going on which is what im 99% sure is whats happening. These outlier scenarios have to be astroturfed because you cannot convince me that Joe nobody who has $160k left on his mortgage thought buying a pixelated ape for $60k was more important.

Except for (in my opinion) music. Like the rant i wrote above. If more artists start ditching streaming platform to release NFT versions of their music (making WAY more money in the process), there is potential for NFT albums to kill streaming platforms, like streaming platforms killed CDs.

This. NFTs in an MMO is huge or a multi player game with custom skins. That I would want. BRB playing a game like RuneScape or WOW for 8 years with an NFT.
