I really hope they try to keep that chit out of D2:R. Been messing around with the new ladder season after not playing for like 11 years and it's even worse than I remember. In Hell like 95% of public games are bots running baal and the few that aren't are just traders.

Game economy would be so fun without bots flooding each season with high level items.

I wish this game didn't have any kind of cross-play or cross-progression. Would be fun to at least have the consoles separate from botted items.

seems like they are really pulling all the stops and listening to community feedback. blizzard animation IMO looks a lot better with the enhanced particle size and it coming down from an angle. amazon portrait looks better although I feel that one could be better as well, at least she doesn't look like a man in drag.

some of the other changes like the appearance of gems, etc do look better, although minor. Blizzard doesn't seem to be phucking around when it comes to this release.

I wonder this too, but I feel like I'll still be able to get 100-200 hours out of the game just by trying out different classes/builds with the updated graphics, which to me would be well worth it. After that, I feel like they would have to change things a bit significantly to keep me interested in the game. At the end of the day the game is still 20 years minus the updated graphics. There's only so many Baal/Chaos runs you can do before you lose your damn mind.

Wouldn't mind eventually down the road if they add some new maps, update/balance some items and skills, maybe make it closer to Project Diablo II.

So it looks like all the streamers and "people of importance" will get to play this weekend, then the rest of us pre order peasants can play next weekend?

At first that's what I thought but now after reading another article it looks like I was incorrect.

I really enjoyed playing with a controller on D3. Probably gonna use the beta just to test out how the controller feels.

I read something about you have to switch to the beta option to preload it. Haven’t preordered yet so not sure.

Open battle.net desktop app and click on the game. Mine said something like "you own this game" or "You've purchased this game".
Then there's a little drop down box that says "Diablo II: Resurrected" or "Beta". If you click Beta, it lets you download.
