I think I’m going holy fire zealot for my first character and then transitioning to holy freeze or holy shock later.

I only played mostly Friday, got sorc to level 20 after beating A2 and stopped. Once we can play A1-5 that's what I'll start no lifing it.

100% making a sorc again as my starter. Get to hell ASAP and farm Stony Tomb/Meph/Trav/Eldritch til I get rich

Do they have a plan for bots? It's been yearssss, but last time I played D2 it was just spam in every game from bots selling crap.

Bots are almost certainly going to be a problem. These companies put next to no effort in stopping bots in games that don't have a subscription or microtransactions.

Spamming will probably be worse since so many people coming back will remember having stuff like Shakos but not the insane amount of time it takes to farm them yourself and will be willing to buy them.

Zealots are my favorite build. Did holy freeze in the beta but I prefer holy shock. I like the bigger damage potential since holy shock has the widest range of the elemental auras.

best class to start early on is probably a mage, especially something like blizzard (maybe orb or meteor too?). they don't require a lot of expensive gear, and can solo bosses like meph. that should help a lot with farming for gear for other builds. a lot of items won't be available from start, so it's pointless to start expensive builds until the game has been out for a while.

it's still unknown if there will be bots or dupes. personally i hope there won't be, but there's no knowing what's gonna happen with the console version of the game. diablo 3 had all kinds of hacked stuff on there.

I usually always start with a mf sorc, and planned a meteorb for my first char on launch, but i think i'll change it up and make a hammerdin as my first ever D2R char. Solid all around in everything and tanky, and easy chaos mf runs.

They will be adding previously ladder-only runewords, uniques, and cube recipes to nonladder and single player.

Diablo clone and ubers will be available on single player.
