Misc MECHANICS - Please help

Just bought an F150 and replaced all brakes - got new pads, rotors and front calipers

I noticed that when I go from completely stopped then I start driving, the front tires have a tiny stutter / vibration. Also when I’m coming to a complete stop

It accelerates fine while in motion

It’s not that bad but enough to notice. Any ideas?

Take the front tires off one at a time and make sure the inner pads and outer pads aren’t mixed up
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.

make sure you clean the dips stick before you check the level

It sounds like it might be in the driveline. Is it a crewcab with a carrier bearing (two-piece driveshaft)?

Edit: just re-read your post...probably not the driveline if it happens when slowing down, too.

Warped rotor would be my guess.

How old of truck and how many miles? Could possibly be a wheel bearing or ball joint.

An alignment adjusts the caster and camber...you might need to have weight added or removed from your rims to help balance the unevenness of the tires.

Op read my first post. If this has happened since you got it back from the shop that’s probably what it is... easy enough to fix yourself...

Could be that the pads were worn down enough that they weren't rubbing too though, if the warp in the rotors are minor enough. Could be that they did a crap job and mixed up the inner and outer pads though too, as another miscer said.

i'd definitely try this first, manipulating the wheels doing the work (especially if they are older) could have caused one to go out of balance, easy fix.

swapping the inner/outer pads is possible, I'd say if that's the problem, probably find a new shop lol

also, do you KNOW they changed the rotors and didn't just turn them and charge you (old rotor might be warped)? if that happened, you definitely need to find a new shop, they are just crooks
