The only reason Laundrie hasn’t been arrested for Petito is because there’s no body so all they have is a missing person case. The Moab case they have actual bodies. If he was a real suspect he’d have been arrested by now.

There were two separate reports by locals in Utah of seeing domestic abuse the same week she disappeared.
Cops pulled her over and bf was driving her van, and she was in tears in the passenger seat.
Next thing is bf and van are back in Florida, girl has disappeared.
Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what happened.

The lesbian couple were all the way in Moab, UT definitely at least 500 miles away, if not more. The so-called "creepy guy" could have described anyone who is male. Especially by lesbians, who probably describe all men that way. Unlikely these are linked.
I still think the guy lost her somehow in the woods on a trail. They somehow got separated since several trails are not well marked and he panicked. He probably hiked all over looking for her and couldn't find her, it got dark and cold, and after several hours or a full day of not finding her, freaked out. He probably doesn't want to be accused of negligence or whatever.
Yellowstone is primarily in WY, doesn't make sense Utah would have jurisdiction.

They are likely two scenarios in this case
A
Like some posters above said, he lost her on a hiking trail and never found her again. He panicked and drove home.
B
He got into another argument with her and accidentally or willingly killed her. Either the terrain was very remote or he did hide her somewhere/ git rid of her body.
Even though scenario A would have happened it is very unlikely for someone to behave like he did and straight back drove thousands of miles home and not calling any searching party or help. Because if I really want to find that person I’m doing everything that helps me with that pursuit.
She is clearly dead and he clearly knows how she died. He’s gonna be in jail soon mark my words.

I think people under-estimate how difficult it is to navigate large park trails, and the many "off-trail" trails can throw even more people off. A lot of times they will narrow up more and more till it dead ends. You turn around, you can't find the trail again.
Anyhow, hate to say this, but she's likely dead. You have to be super-prepared to survive that tough wilderness and especially how bone-chilling cold those Teton nights are. Without proper dress/gear, she probably died from exposure the first night.

Sure enough, he reaches a fork in the trail and doesn't know which way she turned. There's no cell phone service, so they can't call. He ends up not finding her and is terrified. It's now dark and they have no flashlight or jacket. He may have panicked.

The body cam footage is gaslighty as fuk. She starts by saying she's stressed and apologizing for her "OCD," which we later learn means she was cleaning their shared living space. He says something about "If I was speeding then I'm sorry" (well you were, they just told you.) Then he goes on about her "little blog" which is an interesting way of speaking about the work of someone fully supporting your lifestyle. His IG is full of creepy bloody drawings and he just what, stole her van? I say oh well and take off back across the country when I accidentally dump my kief on a trail, not when the person I love goes missing.
