The massive media circus, internet detectives and all the morons that tried to go protest at his house are responsible for freaking him out and him going into hiding.
Think about it for a second. The dude murders his girl-friend then goes home. Is interviewed by police. Then chills at home... Until the media sh!tstorm...
If he planned on running/hiding from the start he'd have never went home. He'd have gone straight south of the border. Most likely in his van.

If I were him I would have headed straight south and over the border deep into south America. Now it's too late and the heat is on.
He had like a 10 day head start. He could have made it to at least Panama. Now he's trying to hide in the swamps of Florida being chased by the fbi lol the kid goofed bad.
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

How far you think you’re getting without getting a ridiculous amount of cash in hand?
How do you know he didn’t cut out earlier than when the family said he left?

I bet you’d just pick up odd jobs along the way to make up the cash you’d need? Newsflash no one is hiring your socially retarded ass and paying you under the table.
You’d get phoned in and picked up for acting sketchy before you even made it to the border lmao

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Next clue may be figuring out what kind of vehicle he actually left in and finding it discarded (probably very very far away).Pretty sure a neighbor said she saw him cutting the lawn and going for a bike ride with his mother after he returned.

At this point it gets really interesting.
I believe he is 100% not even near that reserve. The US is a big country with over 50 states. Having money (parents) can get you a nice fake ID. Being bald is actually helping because he can sport a toupee and a mustache for example and no one would recognize him. Well at least if he wasn’t on every front page on the news which I’m sure he didn’t plan to be on.
He could be in Canada by now near the Great Lakes or he could have hired on a container ship and already thousands of miles away. He most likely told his parents where he will be but since the fbi doesn’t have permissions on operating outside the United States he could be very well save and alive.
At this point it reminds me on the prison break series after they’ve escaped. It’s getting more and more interesting. I don’t think we will hear from his appearance soon. Could take years or someone coincidentally catching him on a photo.
And at this point I very much believe that he seems to be smarter than 99 percent of the people running around. Or his parent are the real criminal masterminds.
Just My two cents

Question for the misc lawyers... assuming his parents were aware the he was involved with the homicide and intentionally lied/mislead the police, did they commit a crime?

Pretty tough to prove his parents knew anything unless there is actual text message evidence. Lets say they DID move the mustang to the preserve (which I'm definitely not convinced or think they did) there is nothing illegal about that. Same thing with them picking it up. They could try to make a interfering with an investigation/obstruction claim, but thats again going to be insanely circumstantial and very difficult to prove. With the worst thing probably being a low misdemeanor.

Right now to say one way or another is insane. Because there is just NO information out right now.
