100% disagree. Like someone mentioned earlier in the thread, it’s near impossible for someone to, successfully, spontaneously go on the run. Dude wasn’t equipped to start a new life, minus having a conspicuous van. Has to figure out a way to get funds (easily tracked if he uses cards/atms, plus can be frozen), get whatever necessities or whatever he might have back home, destroy any potential evidence/incriminating stuff back home, say his goodbyes, and then go.

Maybe he did have a chit ton of cash. Maybe he had family all pull out sums of cash to not draw attention. Maybe he had a passport he’d want. Maybe there was something incriminating he needed to get rid of.

I've walked that park before. You would have to TRY to get attacked by a gator there. Probably one of the lowest alligator concentrations in the state, semi srs. The whole park is a flooded Savannah like landscape. Flat and wet, some oak and pines. Nothing but wild pigs and mountain bikers out there. Bad place to "hide out".

Maybe it was just my upbringing and relationship to my parents, but I don't think I would be able to be 22 and suddenly flee the country without ever speaking to my family again. My first thought would be to go home and get my parents advice, which seems to be what he did. They covered for him and now he very well could be in Mexico anyways.

And I believe that was on Friday 9/10 (the last time he can be confirmed at the house by a witness). The parents claim he was there on Tuesday 9/14 prior to leaving to go hiking (100% a lie). So he very well could have left to go on the run later on 9/10 or early on Saturday 9/11. I guarantee the vehicle left at the nature preserve was the just the parents attempt to confuse the police, knowing their kid had already taken off by different means several days earlier in a totally different direction. Next clue may be figuring out what kind of vehicle he actually left in and finding it discarded (probably very very far away).

His parents said he did that on Tuesday--yes. But no one ever actually saw him do it. Anyone could have just planted the car there. Especially if the guy was already actually on the run 3-4 days prior.

At this point it gets really interesting.
I believe he is 100% not even near that reserve. The US is a big country with over 50 states. Having money (parents) can get you a nice fake ID. Being bald is actually helping because he can sport a toupee and a mustache for example and no one would recognize him. Well at least if he wasn’t on every front page on the news which I’m sure he didn’t plan to be on.
He could be in Canada by now near the Great Lakes or he could have hired on a container ship and already thousands of miles away. He most likely told his parents where he will be but since the fbi doesn’t have permissions on operating outside the United States he could be very well save and alive.

At this point it reminds me on the prison break series after they’ve escaped. It’s getting more and more interesting. I don’t think we will hear from his appearance soon. Could take years or someone coincidentally catching him on a photo.

And at this point I very much believe that he seems to be smarter than 99 percent of the people running around. Or his parent are the real criminal masterminds.

I believe the police said that the claim is he drove it to the reserve, that reserve police/parking people left a note on it saying to remove the vehicle ASAP/Immediately. That the parents hadn't brought it back immediately because they wanted to leave it there for him if he had came back (which supposedly he drove and left it there...) but they decided to bring it home to avoid it being towed.

but yes anybody could have planted it there.

Not a lawyer.

Pretty tough to prove his parents knew anything unless there is actual text message evidence. Lets say they DID move the mustang to the preserve (which I'm definitely not convinced or think they did) there is nothing illegal about that. Same thing with them picking it up. They could try to make a interfering with an investigation/obstruction claim, but thats again going to be insanely circumstantial and very difficult to prove. With the worst thing probably being a low misdemeanor.

We have literally 0 evidence they know or have known ANYTHING. Confliciting reports about the mustang...

Right now to say one way or another is insane. Because there is just NO information out right now.
