What age were you in the best shape of your life?

Is it now or was it a past age?

At 30, I’d say I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in but I didn’t start doing anything remotely resembling exercise until age 20. Before that it was NBA Live, Madden, Doritos, and Bagel Bites.

Yeah I would say I was in good shape at 28, had a slump at 29 and have peaked now but not much past the shape I was in at 28. I primarily do bodyweight exercises though so I’m trying to fend off injuries.

Hell yeah man, lower teens are where it’s at for looking good but still feeling good. Anytime I get too lean, I’m miserable, cold, and my dick stops working.

Dats it mane, keep it up and learn from us older brahs. You’ll likely hit some speed bumps but keep at it. I fractured my ankle last year and couldn’t really move so gained a little weight and obviously my conditioning suffered, I got back at it though.

I would guess that that age is most people’s peak, sloots are very motivating haha. Well you can always get back after it, weight is just weight so anything you’ve gained you can lose.

Probably right now, at 30
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Aesthetically, about 28. But performance wise I'm probably still about at the peak at 32 years old, but it does wax and wane. I thank God I stayed natty because if I didn't I'd probably have like 10 years of roid side-effects by now and be a walking corpse.

after 30 stamina is not as good and recovery times are longer. Also some injuries probably played a role

Aesthetically, rn (I'm 27)

In terms of athletic ability...19-23. I fell off athletically due to drugs, alcohol, and a crippling eating disorder.

I don't feel as motivated to push my body like I used to.

Stamina for sure, I workout everyday but most of those workout are only 30-45 minutes of strength training and I usually get close to an hour of walking in throughout the day to stay lean. I can’t do the 1 hour-2 hour lifting sessions I used to.

Do you mean in terms of aesthetics or performance? Alcohol does fuk all to harm my aesthetics, but it just flatlines my performance in sports or the gym.

Well yeah I’ve noticed motivation, strength, etc wax and wane over the years too but as long as we stay relatively consistent it will set us apart from the rest of the population. Most 30+ year olds do no exercise, eat like ****, and have given up. No way that’s happening to me unless I have some debilitating injury.

Yeah as we get older it’s difficult to redline hard like when you first start lifting, it sounds like you’ve built a good base though since you’re at your aesthetic peak. I feel you on the eating disorder man, I lost 120 lbs at age 20 and I went through several years of battling the mental game.
