I think it’s the best Kirby game ever when it’s said and done. I was seriously impressed. Normally Kirby is to me like Yoshi wooly world was ie not that high on my gaming radar.

Kirby looks cool.

Bayonetta, splatoon, animal crossing - was never into this kind of stuff. Maybe one day. Never played any of them to be fair.

Will be getting metroid dread.

Although I do hope that this isnt the majoras mask/ocarina of time release rumor all along. That would suck.

Previews came out today and were overall positive. I'm still waiting for reviews, and to see if someone will get it to me for my bday

Gamecube games did not look like what you remember them looking like. But I did think Bayonetta looked underwhelming. Then again, Nintendo usually saves the "wow" trailer for the second gameplay reveal. Like with Odyssey, Luigis Mansion 3 or even recently Metroid Dread.

The Kirby game didn't look like any reskinned Mario that I know of. It does seem to follow the "3D World" type levels, but with a larger overworld to get to levels. I think that style of levels should be good for Kirby vs more sandboxy Mario 64/Sunshine/Odyssey type level design.

Sora is annoying, the writing is the cringiest I have ever experienced, story all over the place making no sense.... I was really hoping for Master Chief.

I do like the stage and the music should be good.

big time kh fan and I couldnt even make it to 98% after death by cutscene so I get it. I had to youtube the main story. I honestly cant refute anything you said at all, but when KH1 came out it was magical.

I remember wanting a PS2 for the original. Game seemed magical. Might give it a try to see if it clicks more with me. I like the older Disney stuff more, so it might.

yeah. gonna replace my switch lite with it. Borrowed a friends regular switch, and smash bros is much more enjoyable on a larger monitor screen. Although I like handheld mode for certain games. Oled comes on a few days and is only 50 dollars more so why not. Gonna give my lite to a cousin.

so excited af to dive into it again with the new DLC (October 20th)

I'm ok with that (it's worth 20 euro a year to me to play some of my favorite games of all time this way) but objectively I find this a hard sell tbh

they value a handful of N64/MD games the same as Online, cloud saves, NES/SNES, ....

+ 50% would've seemed more justifiable

Awful pricing in USA. At least consumers are voicing their discontent, it’s like 75% disliked on YouTube.

Gabe Newell said piracy is a “service problem”, and I wish Nintendo understood that. If they offered something more compelling, people would use it rather than resorting to emulation. Widescreen support, higher frame rates, better price, etc.

Also, I didn’t know this but at least the games are higher res than the native n64 versions, that’s nice.

for me it's also an incentive that they're all playable in 60 Hz, if I were to play them on original (PAL) hardware it's 50 Hz

only 6 bucks for a whole Senna homage Formula 1 mode

they of course don't have the licenses for all the racer, team and sponsor names so it's nostalgic in a way reminding me of ISS on Nintendo 64 with the fake player names lmfao

but it plays and looks amazing, Francorchamps is also included HNGGGGGGGG

also why the fuk did they bother with the Megadrive/ Genesis? this inflates the price and has 0 added value since you could already play these for dirt cheap in the collection (which is absolutely worth it)

I'm on the fence here to be honest, on the one hand I'd really like to play at least 4 of these titles on Switch but on the other hand Nintendo needs a slap in the face for their outlandishness
