Just lol at miscers that think giving up smoking will make them more productive. If you're a lazy pos while smoking you're probably the same when not smoking. I enjoy smoking every once in a while after i'm done with the day and about to relax or sleep. Couldn't imagine doing it daily or in the middle of the day though

I used to smoke in high school…stopped my senior year because it gave me too much more anxiety, paranoia, and anti-social behaviors

I would maybe hit a bowl like once every 6 months or something if I want to play a game or something and not talk to anybody

Yea. Once you reach a certain age you realize that it does not fit into a more mature lifestyle. It certainly can under some situations but not most.

When it turns into a daily thing it actually causes many negative effects. At most it should be a weekly thing, one time at night to wind down.. At most.

spent about 12-18 month smoking daily and then quit it cold turkey. It's good fun though. Makes food/sex/movies/videogames/experiences better etc.

Cons: No matter what you say it fukn throttles your life potential. Also made me quite emotionally numb? Didnt really give af about anything at all.

Had stopped for about 9 months and can now take it or leave it. Actually tried to get a quarter oz the other day but the guy has changed number. Dont even care tbh.

If I could buy it legally would just buy some for a weekend or something once every 3-6 months.

Prefer it to drinking tbh

but notice that I had better relationships with friends/family/partner since stopping + more savings + better income and less stress from not putting everything off.

I'm 26 and can vape/eat/smoke legally in my area. TBH 2-3 blunts a day sounds like a lot man, even if those are only for your days off from work/school/whatever lol.

What I do is I bought a Pax Era Pro and Pax 3. The Era takes "Pax Era Pods" which are oils, costing like $50-60 per pod, which typically last me 1-2 months, srs. Though I don't vape every day. The Pax 3 I put in dry herb. Supposed to handle wax too but I don't mess with that. For the Pax 3 I use a half pack oven lid, which has a max capacity of 0.35g but I probably put in 0.25-0.3g. This lasts me 2-3 whole sessions, is super discrete compared to smoking, and helps to save money.

Debating getting a "Puffco Peak Pro" which is a fancy nice lightweight all-electric dabbing rig for wax. Seems neat, easy to clean, and self-heats without the need of a torch or anything. But not sold on the idea yet.

-----

That said, what it does for me is "enhances the experience" and kinda lets me enjoy the moment more. It's like all the senses are enhanced and I'm enjoying the present more. Although if I find myself getting too high (7/10 or higher) I'm having a bad time sometimes, and if it's on the extreme end I'm having panic attacks, breathing problems, high heart rate, etc. lol.

So I'd ask you, what does it do for you? Are you not getting things done that you want to do? Is it making you eat unhealthy or forego exercise? Is it making you have breathing issues - could try edibles or vapes instead if so? Is it preventing you from being the person you aspire to be? Plenty of successful stoners exist, Joe Rogan smokes weed and still gets his podcasting, comedy, and UFC hosting going, all while working out too.

If your 2-4g a day is accurate I think you should compromise and cut back a bit. Take no more than 1g a day, and even that is too much IMO. Assuming $10/g yeah it's a huge waste of money to go through 3g, $30 a day, $11k a year. But if you make $150k+ maybe that's acceptable to you, IDK.

wouldn't really care if stoners just admitted that they're ****ing stoners instead of spouting rhetoric of all the supposed "benefits" of being a literal drug addict

I don't smoke/vape/consume anything like that anymore, not even nicotine. But I did partake in college. It was on and off for me. 18-21 I smoked during summer breaks from college. Eventually I got more into vaping/edibles, which is 100% way smarter. No smell, very easy to hide, and might even be a cheap alternative depending on how much you consume and how often you consume (keeping a low tolerance is KEY to using da herb.) But yeah, good luck passing a drug test for work/job either way...

In the past few months I've been completely sober (I don't drink alcohol, and I don't even consume caffeine on a regular basis, never have) and I honestly feel really great, clear headed, and more focused on my goals/hobbies. Da herb is physically non-addictive, but it can be very psychologically addictive, and MANY people use it to cope with reality, and that's not healthy in the long-run. Sure, there are some medical benefits if you suffer from certain diseases/injuries, but most people use it recreationally as a form of escapism, and I can speak from experience that it's not an ideal lifestyle choice in the long-run. Spend your money/time on your hobbies instead.

If it’s so bad for me then why did they legalize it

The one “bad” think I do. I don’t drink and I don’t do any drugs.

Even the world was like, ok you can have this vice. We will legalize it.

They changed the laws before I changed. Because it’s just a flower

Depends on the person and why they're using it. Some people's entire personality is the fact they smoke, that's stupid. But toking on a bowl across a few hours as you work? Nothing wrong with that. If you play make music or play an instrument they go well together.

cut back a lot but it's legal where I live and I would consider myself in a pretty good position in life however I can see how it has negatively affected me in the past but alcohol does the same to people so I try not to get to bent out of shape about it at the END of the day being ABLE to enjoy life without the need for substance is the end GOAL but life can be boring even for BILLIONAIRES flying private jets and a little herb or booze NEVER hurt anybody DED fooking SRS.

This lol.

Its obviously not for everyone. But I have met some very high functioning people who use it like a supplement and not like an escape or drug and it just adds to their life. I am talking 7 figure people running multiple businesses. Mostly because I know a lot of athletes and its extremely popular due to it not having the same negative physical effects of pretty much every other substance that lets you relax.

I have spent some time with my brother in Washington though and seen how it works when its legal and its pretty interesting. I saw that aspect drawn out even more. Successful people who used it it was kind of like coffee, ,gave them a boost either mood wise, productivity wise, or socially because of the dopamine release or reduction is stress. But then you have the obviously weird looking stoner kids who are like 18 year olds in college having beer and liquor for their first time with it readily accessible.

But this whole notion that weed makes a productive person unproductive is pretty funny because its very off base. It makes an unproductive person extremely more unproductive but it does not make a productive, level headed functioning person dysfunctional.

You know what does though? alcohol and prescription drugs. I can tell you I would much rather people be getting high than drunk, alcohol is a fuking nuisance on society compatibly. People arent raping, fighting, stealing, destroying property, killing people in accidents(fractionally as much), like people who are intoxicated are.

Surprised its still so fringe really with it being legal in so many states now and decriminalized in most of the country kind of in limbo awaiting legalization.

From a health perspective, both mental and physical, if there was a vice to have this would be probably the healthiest. Smoking cigarettes or using tobacco, prescription pills, food, porn, sex, gambling, alcohol just off the top of my head are all unquestionably more unhealthy.

I have met many multimillionaires and high level people and CEOs and Lawyers etc all high functioning lifestyles do it by the ounces.

So its definitely down to the person type. Some can do both, while some are gripped by the poisonous elements. Exascerbating existing lifestyle conditions. It can be a crutch mentally, physically and financially for some people.

Some people act like wealth and well being are directly correlated to not smoking but I have seen people makes thousands of dollars on the stock market while high .. . how else would you have the patience to focus on numbers that much without exploding mentally

Unpopular Opinion:

Lets me honest, damn near everyone who smokes weed is a complete loser. We all know it.

Sure, 1 guy out of a million can smoke it and still not be a loser - but the exception to the rule isn't going to be YOU, and why would you even mess with it anyway?

Nobody worth a chit will associate with you, and you damn sure aren't going to meet any quality people / contacts.

well what we are trying to say is that those people are losers anyway. smoking or not. and that furthermore, its unfair for us who are normal people who also smoke should be seen as bums when we are not. and we know why you are doing it because of the stigma so you want to perpetuate that stereotype of having more baggage than it needs to.
while at the same time I also politically and sociologically agree that it shouldn't be normalized and should be stigmatize so that the children dont think its cool to do lest the weak ones amongst us be trapped into addictions they cant handle or afford.

while at the same time yet again weed is something cool people also do because realistically its the funnest healthiness to recreational vice ratio in the world and its not even close

The key to smoking or drinking is moderation. Do you use do it every day and do you start early during the day? Then you're doing it wrong.

Smoked every day from like 13 to 25 but then quit. I’ve smoked maybe 20 times in the past 5 years it just gives me anxiety and **** now. Wish I never did it, it made me lazy and I took my prescriptions Less which sucked for me cuz I was too worried about partying. I only like prescriptions now but it’s been hard as hell to get em I been doing way too much couch surfing on the LO. Don’t really do much in terms of success driven activity without the prescriptions at all. Kinda sucks for me considering the left has created this schizo narrative because of their Max envy plan...

Mask off, Future, pop prescriptions Theodore lenses. Written just over three years ago Theodore rd the road merakey is on. All part of their little Covid conspiracy they stole my work, committed crimes against me, tried tj implicate me in and blamed me for it and ruined my life. As if I’ve ever had auditory or visual hallucinations in my damn life. Zyzz small cock hitler is Z Max envy of democrats Covid conspiracy criminals. It’s a bunch of bull **** cuz I’m sitting here like how you going tj steal my federal investigation that was federally sponsored and then try tj implicate me in your bull ****, steal from me my work and then ruin my damn life over it depriving me of my constitutional and civil rights/human rights? Fucjibg insane check the bodybuilding time stamps just cuz you tried tj steal my **** and use my investigation for some corporate robbery scheme you cost the world 13 trillion dollars over doesn't implicate me into your bull crap. I wasn’t aware and it certainly doesn’t give you the ability to deprive my rights, deprive necessary medicine or ruin my damn life.

from what I have heard from most daily smokers is its literally almost the same as a cigarette after awhile, you get a little buzz for 5 minutes then you're back to normal just maybe a little less jitters.

I think there is a massive difference between smoking and drinking in moderation.

Now when we talk addicts, and addict is an addict and abusing any substance is bad, but honestly man people dont overdose or die on weed so its still hardly in the same field as alcohol in this comparison. The only people going to the hospital high are idiots freaking out.

That's a lie. I've smoked daily for like a year and I've known other people who do it as well. Just because it gets normal for you after a while doesn't mean that you're actually functioning the same as when you're sober. Most people I know who are heavy smokers become lethargic and lazy. It's a lot harder to get chit done when you're constantly high. Your memory is also worse.

Also I do know some "idiots freaking out", not that they went to the hospital. And I believe it's some kind of genetic thing where they're more sensitive to psychoses and stuff like that. The wrong kind/amount of weed can cause that. I don't think it's fair to call them idiots because of it.

Some people can function well on alcohol as well, although physically it's probably more taxing than smoking. I could probably get work done when I've downed a sixpack, but after half a joint don't count on me to get anything useful done at all. Again, the key is making it work for you in a certain way. If you like to get high after work and zone out, then you perform again at work the next day. I don't see the problem with people who do that. Although I still believe it's better to take breaks every now and then.

To be honest I don’t regret quitting at all in the least on that one. Wish only I did it earlier and would have just quit partying and focused on prescriptions that are necessary I was a fuk up.

Edit: also my cawk is 8.25 inches long and magnum wide so idk what they’re talking about. I know it’s not Max Connor big but fuk your bull ****.
