My wife is keeping track of the current denials for religious exemptions and it’s at about 65% denied. She has told them that she won’t be putting in overtime, nor will she do anything that compromises her license or ethics. If she gets overwhelmed, she will divert and will refuse patients.

I cannot stand nurses.
I think they rank low enough they're essentially required to take risks for work, like infantrymen required to wear protection and face enemies. It's not within their bargaining power to demand risk-free jobs, only.
