There have been studies done where rich people would feel more unhappy, if their neighbor was richer than them. Somehow it's all a competition and jealousy took over.

But in my opinion, everyone's goal should be to achieve maximum happiness. And to achieve that, i believe the goal is to reach personal liberation.
The more goals you can accomplish, the harder you will fight to achieve happiness, the better. And once you reached it, you get to enjoy life to the fullest.
It's a personal journey, not a competition.
Wealthy and successful people are usually positive and upbeat and are more willing to help you, even if it's just advise, than poor people. Poor unsucessful people are always trying to push others down, give bad advise, put you down for doing good, make you feel bad. You see these protesters out with purple hair screaming about injustice and how much of victims they are, 99% of them are just trash people. That's fine, but it's when they try to bring others down and ruin other people so they dont' have to suffer alone is when I have issues.

Being a better person isn't easy. My goal is to be like some people I have known and I realize that they were well respected. One guy I worked with was always honest but never would speak an ill word about anyone. As close as he would come is to say he didn't agree with how someone did something or he wouldn't do that, or how what they were doing wasn't helpful and leave it at that. Or he would just state the facts. He wasn't a bible thumper at all, didn't really speak of religion but I was talking to him about how he keeps his cool and I wish I could do that he just said "I'm just trying to live my life how Jesus wants me to the best I can.". That hit hard. It's hard to do because sometimes dumb mofos push me.

A lot of blacks see boxing as THEIR sport, as so many champs have been black (Ali, Tyson, Liston, Lewis, Holyfield, Foreman, Mayweather, Frazier etc.) so when a white fighter beats one of their own, it is a gross insult and the guy they loved and supported before the fight is suddenly a disgrace to them.
