hell difficulty wtf?! level 67 ice bowazon, how do i even get by in hell difficulty? Couldn't even get to the den of evil and there were all these zombies that were immune to ice? what am i supposed to do? just have my merc kill them? or do i need to play with others?

Get in on dat dere Lower Resist or Conviction aura, as these are the only way to lower the resistance. Best bet would be Infinity runeword as it has Conviction Aura on it. Give it to your merc. You'll need a Polearm or something with four sockets, and add BerMalBerIst.

one day i can spend like two hours doing meph & andy runs, and get pure garbage like all blues or yellows, and then one hour it's all good stuff. i tried doing a few more runs, but wasn't as lucky. a couple of days ago i found an um off of meph as well.

i don't think there's a way to keep your merc from wandering off to get his head bussed by meph. i don't even bother reviving him when doing meph, cows, lower kurast chests, or andy. he just dies too quickly because i have junk. i use a might merc with colossus voulge insight, duriel's shell, but no andy's visage, so he can't survive that well. only time i use him is for pindle runs or some public baal runs. besides that i don't do mf runs anywhere else, and rely mostly on my fast cast rate from dual spirits to get around before switching to occy + rhyme shield for higher mf.

is their such thing as to much MF? is there a sweet spot we should aim for? I have 260mf right now on weapon swap.

I've always heard rumors if you have too much MF you will find mostly set items but I cant confirm that. Maybe someone else has the answer

Mrlamasc just made a vide about that yesterday. The answer is no. but theres a point where it plateaus for rare and uniques but still effects blue item drop chance.

Will watch later. Currently at 462%. Would be nice if say 250% was the sweet spot because then I could basically just rock my general gear (but keep wearing wealth armor)

Lots of talk servers down to ban/deal with the dupers/hackers who have been recently duping items and Reason for server crashes.

Hope they rid all of them there is nothing more upsetting then getting your first soj to have it disappear

interesting so, so i would imagine once uniques start to plateau MF becomes to much since blue drops are only going to take away from find good socket pieces.

Yeah I’d be careful on some of the most wanted items atm. I’m sure it’s very minor atm if at all, but without a doubt they are trying to do everything they can to figure out duping to make a quick buck right now.

maybe you need higher level holy shield + dex? block should be 75%, along with good hp, and resists.
Yeah, working on the holy shield now since maxing the hammer synergies. I was a dumb ass and forgot about perfect diamonds in my 2 socket Mosers (best shield i've foudn so far) and stuck in a p topaz and ruby.

Need to unsocket... no hel rune though.

Ya I saw that, but those rare runes I don’t have. Can I just run away from the cold immune guys?

Anyone got some spare ko, pul or jah runes?

Is that why the servers were down?! If they can stop the hackers the can take servers down whenever they want imo

Old days no when I played rune words were always safe and runes too I believe, I remember having a mule of over 80 hi runes I traded for tyreal armor and I did cause I knew was safe from proofing. these days I’m sure it would or will but not certain

Edit: Found out I've been goofing this entire time using glacial spike. Used ice blast on meph instead just out of curiosity, and I kill him in 3 seconds. Meph is officially my bitch


By the way - anybody get anxiety or heart issues playing this game? Weird chit, my heart is tweaking, I know it's this game because I have some kind of anxiety when doing meph runs. Is that even possible?
I got like that when I did my first slaughter game joining a chaos game of 6 people and killed them all lmao. My heart is used to it from sales and having 3000-5000$ On a yes or no person that can hang up phone on you.


That game did get me and I had to go eat n take a break for a min after it though lol, nice adrenaline rush. Recommend to stay away from caffeine if you’re playing D and drink some nice red beets/crushed ice/water to sip on

Used the socket quest on a Thresher and it gave me 5 sockets. Oops... thought it would give me 4 for some reason. Well this is how you learn. Maybe I can make one of the 5 rune word polearms for a non mana dependent chars merc.

Or will this 5os thresher have some value to sell for someone to make one of those 5 rune high word ones in it?

pindle's really good when you're doing it on your way to somewhere else in Act 5. very easy to bundle pindle with nith, or do a quick run while waiting for baal tp. but pretty inefficient if you're doing JUST pindle and risk making games too fast. I've done 100+ runs with players 7/8 and I don't think I've seen more than 1 unique drop.

if you like the idea of dropping any item you should try a pitzerker.

for a sorc I guess pindle's fine because you can just use tk to shorten time spent in Harrogath. he'll sometimes spawn cold immune tho so your merc should be able to deal with him quickly
