You will never be in TOP shape- especially if middle-aged- without high-level cardio conditioning and being able to lift heavy weight (pound for pound). The physically stronger one is, the better one tends to look.. sports conditioning included.

Watching what you eat is obvious- goes without saying. Anyone can do that. Form that habit.

This lol cardio doesnt do anything other than give you a better cardiovascular system. If you think it helps you "lose weight" then you are a moron. I can eat 2 less pieces of bread and that would equate to doing a 40 minute jog.

Couldn't agree more, good posts gents.

Good luck to everyone who thinks otherwise, especially OP, you need one.

What's stopping you from eating 2 less pieces of bread (and isn't a slice of bread, on average, around 80 or so calories? Your numbers are a bit off), and doing a 40 minute jog? I didn't know the two had to be mutually exclusive.

^^ This holds true for middle-aged women, especially. I would know firsthand! I've been training for quite awhile and became a bodybuilder naturally within a "short" period of time.
