As long as it’s not a duplex with catbrah or him really living anywhere on your block you’re prob good.

Yes I wanna get the yard done. I get 5 days off a week so I should finish it sooner rather than later.

Who knows, but being a first time home buyer can be pretty intimidating for sure (and it's probably normal to start second guessing the decision) - especially when you start to realize all the things that can potentially go wrong/future repairs and maintenance. But...that's life son.

Owning is where it's at, bought my place for $630k two years ago, rent rooms to close friends mostly covering living expenses, and property is up about $200k in value. It'll feel good to not be renting anymore, srs.

Someday? Someday my dream will come? One night you will wake up and discover it never happened. It's all turned around on you. It never will. Suddenly you are old. Didn't happen, and it never will, because you were never going to do it anyway.

Depends entirely on your own circumstances and goals, which themselves can and likely will change over time. In short, you probably won't know for certain until the future. Did you buy at a reasonable price relative to comparable properties, with the intent to live there for at least 5 years and ideally longer and at reasonable and sustainable debt level, interest rate, etc? Then you'll probably be OK financially. Of course there are other considerations impacting your quality of life but only you can know those.

Is that in Tolleson?

You'll find out next year if it drops in price back to 2018 levels and it's worth $100k less.

Edit, see it's in 85022.

Someone made one hell of a two month flip. Eeek bro!

I honestly think that inflation is going to come right back up and keep the prices up there. Then again it could keep going up. Home ownership is a long game strategy.
2008 or 2012? That house would have listed for like $150k18 monthsago. In 2011 it would have been closer to $90k, possibly less than that.

I've been watching the Phoenix market in particular, and I don't mean to freak the OP out, because who really knows what's going on, but sunbelt cities are absolutely insane right now.

Congrats bro. You have lots of space on the backyard which is cool. You could make yourself a nice orchard there, enough to sustain yourself. Enjoy it.

Lots of things can be grown in the desert. You just need some shade and some water.

Cítrics fot example would do well there. Or tunas from cactuses or dragnfruit or pineapples. Etc.

Op plant a tangerine and a lemon tree you'll thank me in 4 years. Srs
