I invested $7k in 2017 and it rose to $380k before the 2018 crash/bear market. The key to winning in Crypto for the average investor is to put throwaway money in a well researched new coin under $100m marketcap then and forget it for a year or 2. Like literally put it in and pretend that money doesn't exist anymore and check later. Lets say you put $3000 on 10 different coins, you will probably lose it all on 8/10 of them, but the 2 will make you tens-hundreds of thousands in profit (e.g. Matic, Shiba Inu, Quant, Theta, Fantom when they launched).

People who are now in my situation where they are desperate for quick money and basically playing roulette and swing trading hoping for a quick 10x get fuked. Aside from social media influencers like Tiktok, Instagram, Onlyfans, Youtube etc, Crypto is the easiest money in the past century and anyone that doesn't realize it will be the future of finance is a fukin retard srs (e.g. look at ********'s rebranding to a metaverse company, Nvidia is now in the top 10 highest global marketcap companies).

Humans have always had highs and lows. But the digital age we live in just polarizes each to the extreme. Everyone is convinced that their life is chit compared to x or y on IG or SC. Ironically, x and y feel the same.

Most college kids are braindead. You’d be surprised how many have never had a job, mommy and daddy pay for tuition, rent, car, food gas living expenses etc… just for them to fold at the slightest hint of adversity… mind is blown as how many people can’t get past cal1 or static mechanics. Only STEMcels can complain because it really is just a pile of never ending chit to do and knowledge from every single previous class is implied.

Life is a lot worse than it used to be though. Getting married is unattainable or undesirable for more people, children aren't affordable, housing isn't affordable, good jobs are harder to attain.

We ruined life for these younger generations and then wonder why they're depressed

I am 23 and have dated 20+ women. The guy you’re replying to isn’t lying. The dating market is fuked due to hypergamy and social media, particularly online dating. Also, look at divorce statistics and the outcomes for men vs women. I get that it’s easy to cry doomsday on an online forum but this is an unfortunate reality for our generation.

I’ve had some success with women but I’ll be brutally honest - the juice hasn’t been worth the squeeze. At ALL. Dating is hell for men in 2021 and I know plenty of normal guys who have literally never even been on a date or kissed a girl. These are guys in their 20s with healthy social circles and are average looking.

op- college is no panacea. i worked alongside plenty who, like me were good in school and graduated. jobs are in the military or minimum wage. there is no growth. no realistic hope of advancement in a place like mississippi. the rich get richer and then just laugh at their old friends. there are so many shills on this forum who pander to the ultra rich and say 'man up pussy' but folks are not weak, they're simply honest about life. all work and no life.
