I noticed this crazyness too. It's like every soul out there suffers from it. Everyday on ******** I see these ridiculous mental health awareness posts from people with dumb reassuring comments. I mean, there are people who are suffering, but every other clown claiming has made the whole thing look retarded.

Talked with a couple of clowns (5 clowns) at the gym (not friends, just end of workout randoms), 1 guy switched the topic to mental health. It's like these retards were just seeking pats on their backs or some ****. Naturally I asked why they're acting like awkward 8 year olds seeking reassurance from each other, they seemed shocked followed by stutters. (If I asked that question to a group of gym guys pre 2013, I would've gotten beaten up lol (wouldn't even be a topic at all pre 2013, we'd just be banging eachothers heads together like coconuts discussing jackass stunts))

I always try to imagine these clowns existing in 300 (spartan movie). Imagine a Roman soldier complaining about his mental instability.

Why is this though? It's such a weak thing to talk about. It bugs me as 99% of the time peoples issues are nothing, with the 1% being some guy with blown off arms whilst being infertile seeking mental help.

When life is this easy they have to make up things to struggle with. Go back to having your first worry being finding food and water and "mental illness" will disappear.

I have no idea on what u just said.

Honestly, I believe it's an easy way out for people. E.g, just claiming an illness instead of facing your issues. Since it's blasted in our faces everywhere, everyone's just joining in, especially since it's advocated/accepted as the norm these days.

Sucks for the people who are actually in need.

I wish people just spawned in the Roman era, or some other era to learn how to act and realise what true hardship is.

The new word is "trauma", "mental health" is so 2020

Every sloot now says they have so much "trauma" from their childhood, "trauma" from their exes, "trauma" from their jobs, "trauma" from school, "trauma" from the sandwich they ate for lunch that was OK but wasn't that good

Attention seeking nitwits, trying to put themselves on the same level of people with PTSD from seeing someone getting their brains blown out by using that word

It’s more control over the people. Control the science, control the people. The left is setting us up. Trans is normal and not a mental illness. Peedofeelia is normal and not a mental illness. White supremacy is a mental illness. The far right is a mental illness. Religion is a mental illness. Note that they aren’t actually going after real mental illnesses.

To trick people into airing dirty laundry on social media that will be used against them later as digital blackmail in the already half-formed social credit system coming to western nations.

Pre 2010 this behaviour just didn't exist.

Haha, the sandwich comment is true. Pretty annoying when people claim trash for having self inflicted sucky lives.

I think social media is part of it, so the pre 2010 part aligns with that

Not that social media is actually making people mentally ill

But social media creates an environment where people crave attention (psychologists say likes are addictive), and will make up chit about all their adversity, to get more likes

Evolutionarily, people have a tendency to help women in need, much more so than men in need. So the incentive is definitely there for women to make up hardships, and "mental health" is an easy one

Yeah, it's like an easy way to get virtual pats on their backs. 2010 is the ultimate year, perfect in every way.

It sucks that these retards have spoilt the whole mental health world. It's extremely easy to fake it thus taking away help from people with understandable hardships (missing limb, actual car crash lifestyles, insane, dead family members etc)

Clowns these days don't need mental help. They just need to continue with life without wasting resources.

Yep, its very hard to tell who is actually in need of help

You can't take people's words anymore when they say they are depressed, have anxiety, etc

Actions speak louder than words, I'll believe you are depressed when you lie in bed for 48 hours straight with the only exception to use the bathroom

Exactly, mental health health has just become a blanket term for any subtle obstacle in life these days.

Yeah, we think alike man. I won't bash on people with issues, but when people start using those somewhat serious terms (depression and whatever) as a 20 year old weed posting mental health crap online scheduled everyday with 50+ comments each time, I really hope they end up enduring some actual real hardships. (Ie, me punching their jaw giving them TMJD for life lol) Not, "Oh, I have 1 billion mental illnesses cos someone ignored a text".

Said this earlier, but chuck these whiny cases in with Spartans/Roman Soldiers. Imagine how horrifically they'd function as 2nd nature.

Floozy retards with 0 clue on anything.

Don’t get me wrong mental health has a place. But it’s not for 90%+ the population. But a pill is an easy way out instead of realizing maybe your lifestyle choices are creating what you hate so much
I live in Silicon Valley and psychiatrists are booked for months. The pace and workload of hi-tech jobs creates a lot of depression and anxiety for people. The money is good, but it comes a a price.

My psychiatrist said that many of his patients would find non-tech jobs and then they don't need to see him. It is a lifestyle decision if you want to keep up with the fast pace and be on meds and in therapy, or take a lower paying non-tech job and be off of meds and therapy. You most likely wouldn't be able to afford to live in the area, though, so it's a big life change if you have family in the area.

My psychiatrist made a good point that not everyone is cut out for the NFL, and it's the same with the high stress, long hour jobs.

Short answer: Mentally ill idiots trying to normalize mental illness. Make mental illness a virtue. It's sure easier than actually dealing with or treating.

Also, most of it is not so much real. Such as sloots talk about their anxiety, which in reality is their inability to deal with reality because of mental weakness. PTSD, where they can't deal with their own situations they have delt with and won't take responsibility for because they put themselves there. Depression, so they can whine and be a dark negative rain cloud.

In reality, anxiety you feel anxious for no reason, such as you feel panic although you know thee is nothing to panic about. Depressed people tend to be cheerful and hide they are hurting. A lot of these people are trying to make an excuse for their anti-social and cluster disordes such as BPD. People talking about being "triggered" which is BS, get a grip on yourself.

At netflix, they tell you in orientation "were not your family and as soon as you stop providing value well show you the door"

******** and amazon are known for being pretty aggressive with firing bottom percentage of employees

Other companies are known for being really chill, like google or microsoft. "rest and vest" is the slogan there

They don't need to move out of tech, just go to an easier company

Well, I don't know how u browse but I've never "stumbled" across that messed up stuff, ever.

My parents had this thing on our house pc called k9 web protection. That was in 2007 lol.

I just hate that these bad things exist out there, can destroy a persons mind for a lifetime in seconds.

But otherwise they were coddled and sheltered.

These kids threw tantrums growing up and it was accepted. Never were spanked or even told no. This is the result.

So you take some sheltered kid and expose him to something like that and it messes him up. Guess what, life ain't fair, life can be hard, evil does exist. You want to think "nobody would do that" but dodgammit they will. It's no excuse for being a degenerate a-hole. I learned this at a young age, maybe too much too soon at such a young age. I am a functional adult and I'd like to think I'm more compassionate than most, I just have no tollarence for BS.
