Anyway, Day 5 (Friday) has been a pain. Today was my last day at my current job before I start at a new place next week. Had lunch with team and did no booze during going away lunch for me. Then later today it was my dad's birthday and no wine there. Now chilling at home, no contacting ex girl. Whats helped so far is picking up books I havent committed enough time to reading earlier (just finished Rich Cooper's The Unplugged Alpha).

I feel good asf boyos.

1.02 mi in 8:59
Heart rate in the 150s
2x9 pushups

Feels good asf man

Didn't work out yesterday due to rain. Said I would do it later in the afternoon but ate Anthony's Coal-Fired Pizza and GF and I did some late Netflix & Chill eating World Famous House of Mac. Total degen day but I can write it off as a rest day (you get one per week, so I have to work out on Sunday lel). No alcohol ofc.

Yeah, books are a godsend. I bet I've read over ten thousand words this week.

Saturday Day 6 going strong. Had a miiiint gym session this morning (full energy, full focus, 10/10 pump). I DID go a on a coffee date with this girl who legit admitted she has mental health problems. Entire time I'm trying to finish my coffee as quick as possible and looking at the door. Holy fellas.

0.86 mi run in 8:13
2x10 pushups
Heart rate got to 170. Woo-hoo! It averaged in the mid 150s, so it's getting better. According to the Fitbit, sleep score is an 87 - a very high score in a very long time. Ecstatic. RHR has dropped from 63 to 53 in 6 days of abstinence. I'm trying to get it back to 40 where I know I am absolutely in shape.

Great weather today. Not always gonna be like this.

Yep. Supportive GF is going home to family today so I'll be alone. Time to face my demons.

Really wanted to go to KFC today. But I already ate pizza and other calorie-dense foods over the weekend. Gonna save the KFC for my next cheat day, probably on Sunday.

I can do no sweets in October way easier than I can November.

November yunno you eat clean up until thanksgiving week. Then you double maybe even triple your protein intake mostly from your Turkey dark, white and even the skin and the fatty innards of it. And of course you eat ham. Maybe even more like pork and oyster in your stuffing what have you. I mean you get the picture then you got your sides including at least 3 green choices. Then if your hosts ask you if you fancy a dessert. You don’t decline do you?

Halloween was easy since I don’t drink and since I don’t find kids candy hard to resist.

Thanksgiving is a while bother can of cranberry sauce... I use both cranberry sauces btw. The canned fridged and the homemade cranberry sauce suckas.

I started Nov 1st so just count from there.

I did think about drinking a bottle of 375ml Absolut vodka today but I don't crave it. It's just an identity problem.

Watching Netflix now and unsure if I should buy an Xbox Series S...

Idk brah it doesn't make sense if you skip Thanksgiving sweets when you are doing No Sweets year round. Just write an exception.

It's just you and me boyo. Looks like everyone else gapped away to SS's leggings pic or succumbed to the prevalent misc attitude of "drink in moderation", whatever the phuck that means.

I really didn't want to wake up today. My weakness is that I do my workouts at the last minute in the morning. I only wake up because I don't want to be late for "work". Getting a full-time job was a bad idea...

0.95 mi in 8:47

Average heart rate in the 160s. This is a milestone.

Nicely done. I've actually been wearing my Fitbit to the gym to see where I'm at too - pretty helpful stuff. Terms of reading I'm on Richard Branson's Losing My Virginity.

Same avg heart rate of 160. It's looking good. RHR has stayed at 53. Goal is 40. Keep in mind on Day 1 my RHR was an atrocious 63.

Holy fuark we got stickied. God mode activated. My dreams of getting a sticky have come true on Day 9.

Fuark the haters that say "he'll be drunk tomorrow." That's a reflection of their own belief in themselves. Sad.

Day 10 complete.

It's incredible how much of a social lubricant liquor really can be. We're a third of the way there with no booze, no smoking, and no pr0n.

Onwards to Day 11. We have a Remembrance Day tomorrow in BC (Canada) and I think its Veterans Day in the US. Nice to have middle of day open for gym tomorrow so thats going to be a big focus. Its actually interesting to see how fast the body reacts to eliminating these so I'm really curious to see if i can progress to New Years day being strict.

Woke up. Had two dreams tonight where I dreamt that I was drinking. Now I usually feel remorse when I wake up but I did not feel any remorse this time. That was strange to me.

Today is Veterans Day. No wagecel day means I can work out more. Hooray!

I'm not counting the days ****g0t, in fact I couldn't care less about the days. It's a lifestyle for me. When December comes I'm just gonna call it "Freeze Your Bad Habits" or something catchy.

And also no fap (for me anyways). Any new chicks you happen to be dating or are they all batchit crazy?

We're a third of the way done with November but I'm just taking it a day at a time. I don't focus on the finish line because it doesn't help further my cause.

I've made it past Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years without drinking before. I'll be in the Netherlands for the second half of December.
