People don’t value kindness

As much as people say kindness is a virtue and stress the importance of growing up to be kind and generous, only a minority actually respect a kind person.

I’m not talking about the type of niceness that is being a pushover. Nor am I talking about being nice to get something back.

I’m simply saying that if you treat everyone with respect, have patience with people, keep your promises, encourage people, etc, they will try and stick you in the dirt.

You get taken advantage of and bullied. It gets you nowhere. Atleast in my case. I will continue to be a good, kind person, but people can be BS.

Here's what you do: Turn all your diarrhea into soup (ded fukn srs).

You can turn diarrhea into soup simply by throwing it in a blender and then adding some chicken broth.

I hate drinking diarrhea in the winter, but I will drink the fukk out of diarrhea and French fry shake.

pretty much. when i do something kind now i make sure i wash it from my memory and don't think anything of it srsly. helps prevent me raging later at someone that did me wrong.

people are selfish and care more about what they can get out of you rather than wanting to be around you


remember all those bros you used to go out with every weekend getting yucky. most likely don't hear from many of them if at all anymore cause you don't offer anything to them even if you're the nicest guy in the world

Yeah that's a sad reality with human nature, I guess. People will see kindness and empathy and see what they can extract from such a person. Some people out there genuinely do deserve kindness, respect, and your empathy. I try to keep my sights out for those people I can associate with, yet you will always meet those who aim to manipulate you and give you **** for it. The trick is to keep being cordial and friendly, yet keep your wits about you and let people prove themselves to you before you fully let your guard down.

OP, stick to your principles. You don't have to convince everyone. If you continue to be that person of kindness then people will start to respond to your kindness, one by one and day by day. When years pass, you have a lot of kind people in your circle, helping each other.
