A movie can be fun and still good. Top Gun was my favorite when I was 10 and I still enjoy it. I probably would have liked Tombstone too, but my parents were better than yours.

the only reason people think that is because he was pretty sick, but he was sick for years and killing himself with smoking and drinking - they at least did a good job on showing that - still the fact remains it's unknown so Holiday was a fun choice to fill in

I didn't find anything wrong with the movie. I liked it just as it is.
Like you said, the death count was exaggerated and Earp's virtuous personality was much grayer (more of a grifter IRL) in reality. Same would be that way for all of the characters. It would have been a boring movie (see Kev Costner) it they went that route.

lmao they made it look like he was doing the bar owner a favor by taking over the gambling operation. Likely wasn't as pleasant of an experience as they tried to portray.

Doc was in Pueblo Colorado for a court case when Ringo died. Because they don't know the exact date, it's "possible" that doc went back to AZ to kill Ringo, but he would have had to travel non-stop to AZ and back. It very much is the common thinking that he shot himself.
