I get it, I understand it, I respect it, I love cars and I appreciate that you have found like minded people to celebrate these pieces of technological art (not to mention afford them)......but cars in this tier/league just don't do it for me.

You are only seeing one car from each of the owners. You have zero idea what fills the rest of their garage. As I said most of these guys are car guys. And there are 3 or 4 of the guys with PLAIDS, so they are gapping everyone.
As for being a car guy myself, this is what my garage looks like right now. Lotus pulled apart. Santa brought a supercharger, clutch, light weight flywheel, full suspension bushings, and on and on. My son and I have been working on it during break. It is awesome to share these things with my son. It is 90% of the reason I got back into cars in the first place.
No one likes people that take two spots! I only drive the Lambo for fun. That said, we did 3000 'fun' miles last year. A few soccer practice runs and a grocery run now and again. My wife does not like the car so we dont take it many places, unless I can talk her into letting me drive it to lunch some days.
That is how the car came from Porsche. There is a lot of history and heritage behind that car. I agree with putting some stupid "3" on a car, but this is a true 'hyper car' produced by Porsche honoring it's race heritage w/ that livery. Very different when it comes on a car like that to me.
Burn out was uncalled for agree. The restaurant does a lot to accommodate us and it should not have been done. We called the next day and apologized. Things got a little out of hand when all the cars started to roll out. We do dinners about once a month, sometimes more usually. Most times though it is 10-15 guys. WIth the holiday, we knew this would be one of the larger ones especially with everyone wanting to get out and enjoy the weather. We do mountain runs also. Lost my damn windshield on the last one a few weeks back!

Sickkkk as usual. For my Christmas present my wife scheduled me to drive a Huracan LP610-4 for a few laps at a nearby track in May (one of the exotic experience ones where you spend some time in the classroom first learning about the car, the track, how to properly drive it, etc). I'm super stoked.

The Lotus is possibly becoming the favorite car I have ever owned. Pretty big statement from such a car, but it is so hard to describe. So much fun to drive and a connection with the experience like no other. I considered k-swaps but we track the car, and from what I have heard, power plant swaps never fully mate perfectly with the car. So we are going with the upgrade the stock 1.8. With the supercharger, I am targeting about 330 hp. But the car is only 1900lbs, so it is about the same power to weight as a Performante. It is not a drag car and road/track cars should be balanced. I could bring it up to 400-ish, but then you start having other failures. Last thing I want is to break something at the track and lose the day. Track driving is pretty unforgiving and you are wide open all the time.
I am so crazy excited about this car getting done. It is just something hard to explain. I have done a good amount to it already, but was waiting for winter to do the big tear down.

Just think of this if you get nervous. My 14 year old son had never driven a car in his life. Besides moving something in the driveway. His first time ever driving a car, was in a 860 hp huracan on the track. I will never forget this day. Took him to the track with me which is about an hour drive. On the drive there, we got over the state line, and I pulled over. I figured if we got pulled over, it would be better to have it happen in another state. I told him to get in the drivers seat and get used to driving the car since when we got to the track, he was driving. So he had a small chance to get the feel, while I was telling him how to obey traffic laws
.Then it was on the track! This might be a little nuts, but something I dont think either of us will ever forget.
Towards the end of the day he got a little overconfident. Coming off the back straight, he was late braking to a hard left 90. He spun it out in the corner, but kept it on the track. People laugh watching the vid because I dont freak out. I knew it was going to be fine. Not going to spoil the moment by making him scare or thinking he did something wrong. He was a little nervous, but I just laughed at him and said 'come on, finish the lap'. He smiled and we went on our way. Now he regrets that I had the gopro going. Never going to let him live this one down

I have seen pictures of his seat fitting. Since you know you have to be fitted to the car just to drive it. I have also seen many pics.
But since you continue to doubt, here is in-car footage with 2016 date.
He got diagnosed with some significant health issue, which he is still dealing with. Our second to last track day of the year, he came to the track day. Dr's told him not to lift more than 10 lbs. He had a colectomy bag at the time.
He brought out his full carbon sr8. He took another of our buddies along for a ride along. This guy is not some poser. Stop being a dik.

One of the more successful guys in the group came to this country when he was 13 as a Bosnian civil war refugee. He carried around an old $50 bill. That is to remind him what his family had to their name when they got to this country. Today he is a multi millionaire many times over. Another guys family came from Korea. 5 kids slept in a single bedroom growing up. Today he owns 3 businesses and that green lambo you see. Along with a PLAID, and a M4 as a daily. Just cool people from all walks of life and backgrounds. Most all are self made, so it is pretty amazing how much we have in common and how the friendships have grown.
A common passion has brought us together, but strong friendships have grown and continue to grow out of it. Really a wonderful thing in my life. Not the cars, but rather the people.

But chained to the corporate system, yes, very few will get ahead. My advice, is figure out you niche. We live in a gig economy. Figure out what you do and sell that service. People are freaking clueless. They pay people to hang their tv's. They cant change a light bulb.
If you are the right person with the motivation, make your own path. My son is 14. He is making and selling gaming keyboards that he customizes, with special keys and stabilizers with a grease which gives them the right 'feel' We are rolling his profits into crypto. He also hedges gear in the Rust store. Buys and sells. Kind of proud of the kid. Amazing the world of opportunity out there. Just have to find it!

I am far, FAR more impressed with what someone can do than what they can buy. Check any of my comments on any actual lifting vid on the misc for example. Ive given a lot of credit to Flex over the last couple of years for sticking with it, even though quite a few slaughter him on here.

Have any of the Aventadors got a Gintani exhaust on? Their F1 exhaust sounds insane, but ive never heard one in real life.
I've heard a few Capristo 355s and 458s and they sound like the old 1990s F1 cars. Insane!
I'd love an Aventador SV in a few years. Not sure it's something I'd plan on keeping forever, but definitely to own for a few years would be fun.

I agree that there are a ton of opportunities now - even more than when I imagine you were in your 20s (unless people are counting education being more valuable and real estate etc) - but with the internet alone - there are SO many opportunities. Not to mention crypto, NFTs, web3, metaverse - so much interesting stuff is happening right now.
I can create an online store using Shopify and have it fully function/setup/automated within an afternoon, which sells products globally 24/7/365.
But let's not pretend that $100K/year is enough to buy any of the cars (Except the lotus) in that video, unless you want to be financed up to the eyeballs and chit yourself everytime you see a warning light pop up on the dash - or unless you want to save all that money you make and when youre 60+ drive around in one of those cars.
I think the biggest advantage to our generation with making money, is the advantage of not selling our time for money. Selling time for money always means you have to either have a ton of value (To charge high hourly rates, or agree for clients to sign contracts) or outsourcing your time (e.g. employing staff or contractors) - otherwise you're always going to be limited to how many hours are in the day and at risk of burnout, injuries etc.
The biggest advantage for our generation (or any generation tbh) but these days, is the fact you can make money online instantly, globally, 24/7/365, even whilst you sleep.
You can utilise AI instead of paying for employees to do things for you, you have bots/scripts which allow you to automate SO much of your work and schedule all your content/marketing/advertising/emails etc.
One example, in the last few weeks I've created an email marketing schedule to go out which advertises all of my sales to all of my customers emails (about 10 sales throughout 2022) , abandonded checkout emails, returning customer emails, thanking people for their orders, new subscriber emails with discount codes. The same sales are all advertised throughout all my social media platforms automatically for the whole year. All my content and digital products and social media posts are scheduled the next 12 months.
So then I can sit back and focus more on creating new products, exploring new businesses, investing profits into crypto/stocks/shares/other investments and dealing with customers.

f1 takes the cake though. Racing is one of very, very few sports that gets less competitive as you 'progress'.

So in with the season I'll give you and example of the 'cringe' meet ups we do. This was mid Dec. I got a call from a guy who asked if I knew anyone with a green lambo. I said I knew a few. He explained that his friends 5 yo son went to see Santa. When on Santa's lap, the kid asked Santa for a 'green lambo'. And Santa chuckled, and responded a 'remote control one', and the kid all super sweet said back to Santa, "No a REAL lambo".
So after the parents were doing what any parent would do. They explained that "Santa" probably could not bring him a real Lamborgini. But in his 5 year old mind, he told his parents, "I bet he can figure out something".
So the guy asked if I knew anyone and we could surprise the little boy. So I made some calls and put out a few messages. But a bunch of the other guys got excited to surprise the little kid and wanted to be a part of it as well. I asked the dad if it was OK, and he was super excited about the idea. So that next sunday we had 9 cars, 4 lambos, 2-green ones show up to surprise the little boy one week before Christmas.
I had went ahead and found a little green lambo toy on Amazon and ordered it so we could give it to the kid. So I guess that is cringe and we were all 'flexing' for the 5 year old.
Him mom texted me later. Her son fell asleep that night holding his green lambo. That is one of the things I most enjoy.
