Otis, thank you for responding.

Even if eod is indeed trolling...well, Otis, I still take his posts at face value. (I admit that I've wondered how he still has a job if he's so often running-away to a cubicle in the bathroom - not getting fired for absence; there's that.) Getting banned for "the same threads daily" only proves that eod keeps posting very similar things all the time about his low tolerance for small talk, but posting similar shiitake over-and-over doesn't prove anything about it being untrue or any-such. Nothing wrong with me wishing him some happiness even if he is trolling; even somebody who isn't depressed can still (and always) use some happiness.

It changes nothing on this end...I still wish all the best possible things and thoughts to everybody in here, and even more so the next couple of days when some of us in here are likely to "feel it" even more if they're alone on the year's biggest holiday for most. (Even those who don't observe Christmas, such as so many of my Jewish friends, Muslims, atheists, Buddhists, etc., most still have at least an extra day or two off from work, or families travel and meet, so "Merry Christmas" is still valid in some way.) It's my nature to wish the best, and even those here in the most dire underbelly of depression can know that at least one person "out here in cyberspace" hopes for their transformation to more pleasant and peaceful times.

Same. I noticed I get more depressed living alone when I'm home too often and can cause me to fall into a deep depression. It's hard to avoid and had caused me to miss events with friends and tarnish relationships with women.

I’ve been struggling significantly with “getting over/past” stupid stuff (embarrassing moments/saying something stupid/getting yelled at or criticized/people talking behind my back) and it really sucks. It’s been an issue since I started medical school and just seems to be snowballing. I’m already anxious/stressed/nervous enough, and I really don’t need this right now.

has anyone beaten this?

I dream about offing myself daily. I doubt I ever would, been through so much now and that didn't do it. Healthier headspace than I've ever been but I simply don't feel and experience feeling from much. Seems futile and why bother?

I don't get how i can feel fine one sec and then super depressed the next. I can just never feel normal all day. I think something is off with my hormones and i'm gonna get a blood panel done next time i go to the dr

Had a fun 2 week trip to Bulgaria to visit the GF family etc. I really got into snowboarding etc. Bulgaria is a bit chaotic though.

First day back to work and im feeling super super low again.

All people in the office do is scheme up stuff and try to get others in trouble. Probably going to get fired. It's such a fake environment. Told my boss i can't work with the jewish guy because he just sits there while i do all of the work and he's constantly trying to belittle and boss me around.

And i was out for 2 days sick and when i got back today i'm almost positive they set me up to get me in trouble. Then the jewish guy said something to me and i went to tell my boss that i can't work with him anymore and i don't want him criticizing my work because he's not my boss.
