Hey brahs - Thanks for your patience. I appreciate your continued curiosity and dedication to this thread. Life got in the way and updating this thread once the surgery went through became my top priority instead of micro step by step updates.

The picture I attached to this post is from my last checkup from an orthopedic specialist who has tons of experience revolving around broken tibias/femurs and the recovery surrounding them. I saw him about a week and a half ago and he was the ultimate green-light I was hoping for after assessing both of my tibias and femurs and my overall leg health in general.

Sent the x-rays and report to my surgeon and we followed up with a facetime call with him and his team. We spoke about the phases between surgery date and recovery. There will be 4 phases. Surgery and recovery for the tibia (1) and then surgery and recovery for the femur (2). We're aiming for at least 6-8 months of recovery time if the proper measures are taken.

We're now aiming for surgery date mid 2022 at the earliest. My surgeon and his team just got a new contract with a new physical therapy center under his own brand that's connected to his office/surgery center which I'm pretty psyched about. With everything involved with the procedure convenience (for me) is a top priority. With all of this in mind and discussions I've had with other patients who had the same procedure the idea that I keep entertaining is staying in Turkey from the day of my first surgery until I recover from phase 2. If I do this I'm definitely going to begin using Tinder but with my location in Turkey beforehand so I can have some company while I'm recovering.

there is a youtuber who got it who was still able to move massive weight in deadlift in squat. So it's not like that part of your life would be over either.

Lol some of you put way too much obsession into height. I've known plenty of 5'6" guys who landed hot girlfriends.

I'm average height and NEVER had an issue....had 10 girlfriends in my 20s.

Its like when dudes obsess over dick size and "get depressed because they only have 5-6 inches", yet most women don't give a chit either.

Worst idea of all time OP. I’m an orthopedic surgeon, a traumatologist specifically. I probably fix 50-100 Tibias and femurs a year. This is a terrible idea. Chances of a complication is def more than 50 percent given they will lengthen all four of your long bones. Also, lengthening is one thing, you will then need significant rehab and a whole lot of Lady Luck to ever return to near normal (before surgery). Youll be putting life on hold for years. Abort this idea, this can really get you up in the running for Darwin Award if you get a serious complication.
