Look at Pfizer profits last year vs before that. They are several times higher. Not only did the make a fortune out of it short term, but the nature of the markets mean they are now trapped by the culture of the markets to maintain and grow that windfall.

I agree they were already among the moneymakingest companies ever, but this is a whole other level.

so u reckon governments conspired with pfizer to get pfizer more money? a lot of other big businesses got phucked (not amazon). I think the issue is a lot more complex with more moving parts than just a simple issue of pfizer making more dollars. Pfizer was already one of the market leaders in pharma anyway, this is a whole different level with so many deaths
