Are you mods serious? I’m having a terrible time with this and can’t seek help here from others that suffer from it. How ridiculous of you.

Learn to mediate and change your frame of reference, anxiety is just a disposition and the inability/skills to change it, once you change your mindset, it goes away.

Drugs just fill a hole, op. It isn't worth it. SSRIs are a scam and once your brain adapts to them they stop working and you have a kunt of a withdrawal waiting for you.

I’ve done a full physical and everything looks good on that end. Dr says it’s not physical but a mental problem.

I don’t want to be on the meds but what do you do when your having an attack, I try deep breathing and it doesn’t stop the attack. I felt like I was having a heart attack.

I had some past trauma, and some more recent stuff in the past month that I can't talk about, but I started having horrible anxiety and panic attacks, only sleeping a couple hours a night. Waking up with panic attacks, too.

I made an appointment with a doctor immediately and am finally getting scheduled with a counselor.

There's some good breathing mobile apps that I usually recommend, but unfortunately they barely helped my situational anxiety. But they are really great for day to day anxiety.

I wish you the best, anxiety sucks. See an empathetic doctor if you need to. I actually switched doctors over my situation.

Edit: try to see a counselor too. If things are getting worse, attack it from all angles

I’m not gonna mention any names this time of the medication but the side effects are ridiculous. Specifically the sexual side effects. Low libido, no interest in sex, ect. I still haven’t taken it but it’s been hell. I’m trying a lot of breathing techniques, yoga stretches, ect. And it is helpful but it seems like a temporary fix. I feel an attack coming everyday. Last attack was Tuesday. I avoided one today so far.

I've had anxiety on/off most of my life. Usually starts when I start to worry about something and obsess over it. Goes away fairly quickly when I accept it as anxiety and stop focusing on it. I'm getting better at realizing i'm an anxious person and trying to not go crazy overthinking things.

How do you function and actually do your job? I am not even working now. Have zero income now.

My dr sent a referral to do some therapy.

A bunch of misc r-slurs telling OP not to listen to his doctor versus or recommending all sorts of drugs he hasn't been prescribed, versus an adult fuking another adult.

Look at your belief systems... what beliefs do you have about yourself or others that could be causing anxiety?

It's sinister how no one is allowed to talk about the massive side effects of antipsychotic drugs. With some all it takes is one dose for permanent loss of sexual feelings. Chemical castration on a wide scale. Horrifying. But big pharma wants money, so hush up. wow.

Thank you. I’m not sure how it will help. I seem more anxious just talking about it and feel another attack coming when I do. I have a phone appointment with my dr today and I’m sure that’s exactly what will happen when I talk to him.
