Serious question. How does a nation rich in fuel export which includes refined petroleum simply "run out of gas?"

Now if we are talking about the unfrozen and recently rained on ground forcing them on roadways as an issue, I could see the point.

In all seriousness, a force that moves about freely from it's borders (filled with gas) doesn't run out of gas unless there is more to the story. Are enemy forces hitting resupply lines in a Russian-owned area?

We should start seeing the territorial maps filling up as red in the East. It looks like the first major objectives are being taken.

I think any deal for Ukraine to remain neutral in the east is over since there appears to be a full commital.

Historically speaking from the last 200+ years, there is a significant chance poots dictatorship will fail due to this attack and rus will become a democratic country. Majority of the democratisations the last 200 years happened because the dictator failed in some sense, like an attack that went sour. Bad decisions weakened its power which led to a regime shift.

This attack will likely lead to a worse economy, loss of jobs, and a huge tainted brand for all russans. Democratisation has always led to more human rights, peace, and economic advancement for the nation.




That being said it would be kind of funny for rus to continue on this route while the discrepancy between the western and rus becomes larger. Europe has already made huge investments for advancing technology and cleaner energy because of this
