The easy answer is:
How would the USA have handled the same invasion?

Comparing this Russian invasion to how the USA would have invaded tells me all I need to know about the military preparedness of Russia.

Personally I'm more knowledgeable on the economic and finance front but I refuse to believe the United States would have blundered as the Russians did. It doesn't take a military expert to know the USA would have dominated by air and Intel in a much more robust way.

You'd also never hear the USA "sending in their b team". That's just Cope.

The russian disinfo published about the americans from TN being dead turned out to be false. The tactic here is to get that person to post on their media or cell phone device that they are still alive giving away their location

Everybody, including myself, thought Ukraine would be finished in a week militaristic speaking. The only respect goes to Ukrainians lasting a month and even longer.

Idk you guys left quite a bit of stuff in afghanistan lol.

But that was just bad planning, its not like the US withdrew due to botching military operations.

Desert storm was a month, 3 weeks of air operations and 1 week land invasion. Iraq 2003 the US was pulling down statues of sadam in bahgdad within 3 weeks. Afghanistan was totally controlled in a month, with a few mountain rebel controlled areas remaining.

Russia should have done more in the initial stages of the invasion to neutralize ukraines air force and air defence. Something that most military analysts and western intel thought would be done within 4 days.

Ukraine still has around 50 aircraft of their ~120 they started with.

Barring anything that has been deleted, it looks like he became active here back in 2014 during the balconybrah chit and it appears probably half his posts are in related threads.

After delving into that, he immediately started posting anti-Ukrainian stuff in a 2014 thread abut Russia/Ukraine while Crimea was going down.

Guy says he has EU/Chinese ancestry

Very few posts between 2015-2017, started commenting on crypto chit in 2018 and then didn't post at all from the end of 2018 until Feb 2022 when he zipped immediately into this thread.



Is this the alt of a more regular poster who doesn't want their garbage-tier opinions tied to their main username? There are some strange fukkers on this forum

Nope Russia's not that inept. It must be mutiny or other division srs. There must be a reason the felt more prepared. Where are the 150k troops that were on the border? How many invaded? Why does Putin think that's enough since this would make them outnumbered?

Well the thing about dictatorships is people are afraid to tell Massa the truth. If you give a sober assessment that it might be harder than Putin thinks, he might have you killed or fired. Maybe his intelligence chiefs really did tell him they would be welcomed as liberators and he believed them, hence there wouldn't be much of a fight or resistance and it would all be over before the West had a time to respond.
