They should make planes out of rubber so if they fall like that they would just bounce a few times until it softly lands. Prob nobody would get died. Would bounce off the mountain like a mile, then another half mile....

The original tweet early on showed flightradar websites tracking. The descent had no local min/max it was about as linear looking as a line gets. Nor does this really change any of the facts behind my posts. That horizontal stabilizer was either failed or rogue. Again, the question is why. Assuming of course there was no structural damage to the aircraft when the conflict began. Which at cruising altitude under cruising conditions is unlikley. This is CS or mechanical related. Could be a sensor conflict (pitot, AOT, etc), could be a hydraulic failure thus taking out the rear stabilizer, etc..

But at the end of the day what happened on the flight doesn't change the fact the horizontal stabilizer is the root cause of the flight descending.

How do you think Sully landed in the hudson with both engines failed? REAR HORIZONTAL STABILIZER TRIM (and his elevators).

I can count the days on one hand since 2004 I have been serious on this forum. I am a POS troll. This however, is my ****ing lane.

Things work a little bit differently in China.

The pilot's family paid a bribe for him to get the training or the job.

The maintenance team probably OKed stuff that wasn't in good condition.

This is why I don't fly with any Chinese airlines.

1st. He is trolling.

2nd. Yes. We are tested once a year (or every 6 months) so we can renew our Medical Class One Certificate (You can't work without it. If you fail, you are fired). The Medical will be renewed IF your physical and mental health meet the requirements. However, there is no way of accurately know if the pilot is or isn't suicidal (if there is no record of medical appointments or meds and the pilot says everything is great... you will never know).

Like I said, they check medical records, they ask you questions (they are trained to detect if something is wrong) etc etc. If they suspect something you gotta be seen by a team of psychologists/psychiatrist and they gonna evaluate your condition.

But they can't be 100% sure.



P.S. If you go to a psychologist on your own and you show suicidal thoughts/behaviors, the psychologist has the obligation to ignore the code of ethics and report it to the airline/authority.
