"Patients who had had symptoms of Covid-19 for up to 7 days and had at least one risk factor for disease progression were randomly assigned to receive ivermectin (400 μg per kilogram of body weight) once daily for 3 days or placebo."

So start them a week after symptoms lmao. Meanwhile imask protocol states to start the moment symptoms appear, also for 5+ days, not just 3.

7 days after symptoms start, people also had at least 1 risk factor.

Would like to know what dosage was administered as well. Underdosing: see this doesn't work. Overdosing: see this kills people.

Yes and actually, yes. If you were to ever visit an office and yes I say office (obviously doctor offices, research firms etc) associated with medical research in relation to prescription drugs you would not see some wonderful study in progress like the movies make.

What would be seen is patients in and out, lying about following protocol, poor documentation and filing, constant calls and visits/conversation from the “doctors” funding the drug and or study.

But hey Alex Jones and all that. Whoever the fuk that is.

119 studies say yes.

1 study funded by pfizer pushers after 7 days symptoms says only 10% better

This is my question.

To OP and any one else in the “trust the science” crew, has any study been done on its efficacy as a prophylactic? Because all the claims I hear are that it supposedly works as a prophylactic, yet the only studies I see to “debunk” this claim are re it’s use as a treatment.

To be clear, I am not wed to ivermectin, nor do I necessarily “believe” in it. But from my perspective everyone against it appears to be engaged in sophistry, and that is a red flag to me and should be a red flag to you.

Can't read the article because of NYTimes subscription chit, but just know that the success of ivermectin depends heavily on when it's administered. That's why you hear "early treatment" so much and it's used in a multi-drug protocol.

At a certain point of hospitalization, ALL treatments vastly decrease in effectiveness. Considering the amount of research showing it reduces hospitalization stay, I'm going to guess this study has the aforementioned confound.

You're joking right? Late treatment is a genuine concern in drug administration. You can't just scoff at it like it's an excuse......

I took it when I had covid and had several family members take it when they had it....based on these few experiences (4 people), it did not seem to much.

What did work was the antibody infusions

302 patients started Ivermectin before the 3rd day of symptoms.

Look at the credible intervals. If the interval includes 1.0, there's no "significant" effect.

Amazing how it worked so well in india, middle and south america. It's almost as if there are people paid to discredit it because it's such a cheap drug and more expensive drugs that do the same thing are being pushed.
