There does exist a world, where some people have nice things. And they buy them, not because others think they are cool, but because they actually like them themselves. You can also share those things with others that like them.
If I were screaming 'look at me' I'd have 100's of pics of me in the cars. FWIW, I have a car instagram, and there is not a single pic of myself in it. Just pics of my cars and my friends and other cars I think are cool. When you take the "me" and "I" out of it, the cars stand on their own. I feel lucky to be around and see as many as I do. Really is it unreal at times. Super cool and grateful as I know many people would enjoy this. It is also why I always take the time to share the cars with younger kids and adults. These things are fun. Get you stick out of your a$$ and open your eyes. Cant even tell you the amount of times and conversations I have had with people sharing in the love of cars of all types. Life is good man!
Lotus update for me. In the garage last night my son and I, trans dropped, old clutch came out and new stuff staged and ready to go in. Yes, I think this is cool!

Lots of clips went out on SM of our dinner gathering. And of of the higher-ups from Sonic automotive reached out and asked if we would be interested in them hosting an event for use at Charlotte Motor Speedway. If you dont know who Sonic Automotive is, fortune 500 company and one of the largest automotive conglomerates in the US.
The car community is a really cool thing and brings lots of people together in cool ways. They tossed the idea around if we would like Zmax dragway also. Those would make for some fun days for sure. Cool to get to be a part of this and I get to share it with my son.

We are just outside Charlotte NC. I need to get back on my lotus build. But my son and I had a lambo project pop up on us to do, He just turned 15 and this was the 'lambo' he got for his birthday. (he has already built the Senna.). Insane kit. 3700 pieces and build manual is 2- books 300pages per book. Really pretty cool.

I play poker with him weekly. Cool see a guy who is a billionaire fold a hand over a $5 bet. The cars are secondary to the friendships made. But getting back into cars has been a really great thing for me and my son. COVID had some upsides and that is one for us. I finally said fuk it, life is short, lets live some!
It not about money. If you look in the vid I posted, there is a red elise. He is a tech at one of the shops and we all are good friends with him. Its a salvage rebuilt that he built to track. Probably worth 40k. So $1,000,000 cars and even $40k cars. We are all friends. That is the cool thing
