Today is a fairly calm day on the military agenda. Perhaps the most important event of today was the release of people from Azovstal. Recall that yesterday the first family left the plant. The husband, wife and daughter, who at first were mistaken for Nazis, independently left the bunker in which they were hiding. Today, the rescue of people who became hostages of the Azov people continued. Representatives of the UN and the Red Cross arrived in Mariupol for this purpose. In total, 45 civilians have been evacuated from Azovstal at the moment - 25 people left on their own, another 20 were released by the Azov people. It is reported that the Nazis bargained for the number of people released and demanded places for themselves. Traditionally, arrivals and shelling of the territories of the Russian Federation bordering Ukraine continued. Explosions were reported in Belgorod all night, air defense was working. Iskanders also worked from us towards the border. The governor of the Kursk region reported that the Krupets checkpoint was again shelled. There appeared to be no casualties. The enemy was suppressed by a response. Also, 2 shells exploded on the territory of the village of Zhecha in the Bryansk region. Several outbuildings were damaged. There are no casualties today. On the fronts, the picture essentially repeats yesterday. Let's go over the main points. Fighting continues in the north of Kharkov near the settlement. Russian Lozovaya. This place has changed hands several times in recent days. Now it seems to be ours. The Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the occupation of several settlements that were in the gray zone, in the north-east of Kharkov. There were also not weak arrivals in the suburbs. On the broad Izyum front, slow but steady progress. West of Izyum, fighting for Bolshaya Komyshevakha. South of Izyum, fighting near Kurulka and Pashkovo, it is reported that they finally took Dovgenkoe. At the Oskol reservoir, he continues to be surrounded by 1000 Armed Forces. The allied troops, having completed the cleansing of Yampol, reached the outskirts of Liman from the southeast, a war begins inside the city. Fire control was established over the Liman-Raygorodok road. Liman's operational encirclement is complete. In this direction, the greatest successes, many prisoners, trophies. Here, the “O” group famously beats the enemy. Fierce fighting continues in the LPR. It seems that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding on with their last strength. The cleansing of the industrial zone of the frontier continues, the fighting in Severodonetsk, the enemy is being driven out of Orekhovo. But the ukros transferred their main forces to Popasnaya, for which very heavy and fierce battles are being waged. The Armed Forces of Ukraine tightly grabbed a strategically important and well-fortified point. The city was already nicknamed the local Stalingrad. The assault on Popasna has been going on for a month and a half, regular troops, tanks, "Kadyrovtsy" and "Wagnerites" are slowly taking the city. Now there is an additional cleaning of the southwestern outskirts and preparations for an offensive in the direction of the Popasnyansky car repair plant. As soon as Popasnaya falls, the movement of the second phase will go faster. On the Donetsk part of the front is also not boring. The artillery skating rink along Avdeevka is very dense, the sun is working today. Military correspondent Pegov reports that near Adeevka, the ****li battalion was able to inflict heavy losses on the enemy, who lost up to 80 personnel. And to the north, "Sparta" destroyed the column of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A whole column of Ukrainian armored vehicles was burned near Krasnohorivka. In the Zaporozhye line, the battles between Gulyaipole and Velyka Novoselka continue. In the Orekhov area there was again an artillery bath. The concrete of the fortifications is being ground along the entire length of the eastern front line. It's quiet on the southern front today, except for the arrivals. In addition to Nikolaev, seriously arrived in Odessa, high-precision fired at the Shkolny airfield near Odessa. Damage to the terminal and runway is reported. It is worth noting the agony of the APU. Which, as if distraught, with some kind of violent fury, continues to hit the peaceful areas of Donetsk. Several packages of BM-21 Grad (80 122 mm rockets) were fired at the center of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. One person died, there are wounded, dozens of houses, a school, a kindergarten were destroyed. Artillery hit the Tekstilshchik microdistrict again. A young girl was injured, and apartment buildings were also damaged. The city of Debaltseve was shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They were hit with Hurricane rockets. Early in the morning, a Tochka-U missile was shot down over the city of Snezhnoye by DPR air defense. This city is deep in the rear, and why the Nazis were beaten there, as always, is not clear. They beat half of the Luhansk region in the same way. The Armed Forces of Ukraine walked closely along Stakhanov, flew to the Festivalnaya area. There are fires, there are victims. What is this if not agony? From interesting. In the West, Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to announce a general mobilization on May 9th. It is worth noting that more and more experts are talking about the need for it. So that could very well happen.
Russia has been losing ground in kharkov for a while. They dont even seem to be trying to hold it, just slowing the advance. Its right on the russian border so they may feel they can retake it whenever they want. Not sure what benefit that area gives to ukraine

We did the same things to chechnya in the 90s. Now they're the most anti-west group in that area. Ukrainians will eventually figure it out just like they did

The above has nothing to do with Russian culture, moron.

"Easily switch from to Europe to Asia" - blatantly false. Simply not possible.

Russia is heavily reliant on European parts to run its economy, logistics and pretty much everything. Also their major export partner. They're already selling whatever petro they can to China, India etc. It's not a matter of pushing a button and just rerouting gas/oil transits. They would need to build additional pipelines which A: takes years, B: needs tech which again is European and which they won't get because of the sanctions.

The head of the Russian central bank herself just recently said that sh*t's ****ed, because due to the sanctions they can't import parts/tech, meaning they can't produce/run things, and even if they could, they wouldn't be able to sell it and would need to look for new partners.

Last but not least one has to be pretty dense to believe that China won't just keep laughing while Russia bleeds itself out then swoop in and buy up whatever they can.

The best part is if/when Ukraine joins the UN anybody with means will be out of the country to a non third world ****hole as soon as the unrestricted travel between UN countries kicks in. Further sliding Ukraine into permanent welfare status. Will be great for the west since as you said there will be another vassal state for them to launder money through. Bad part will be that money is going to be the billions of "relief" paid for by the taxpayers that will never actually make it to the people still stuck in that dump.

Except for one, the guy said in his original vid that it's a prank and he's not in fact eating human remains. Two, the human bones and the stuff he's cooking do not even resemble each other.

But please, keep posting fake news.

Russia right now is economically and culturally very involved in Europe. Unlike Europe they have options, they can buddy up to Asia instead. Russia is essentially part of both. If putin decides to tell europe to go fuk itself and establish ties with Asia, vilifying the average Russian is going to help tremendously in getting public support. Not that you geniuses ever look that far ahead.

...I have just described it in detail why "unlike Europe they have options" and "buddy up to Asia instead" are not realistic things. Their country simply can't function without Euro/US tech and parts and nobody else is going to supply them, because of the sanctions. Even if someone theoretically could/would, it still would take tons of time to try and transition.

Not to mention all those jobs gone down the drain. It's not exactly a matter of just buying Xiaomi instead of Apple and selling more to B instead of A who now buys less. The Russia-Asia whatever is a fever dream at best.

They can try, but you seem to be missing the point. Vilifying the average Russian just fuels Putin's message that the west is their enemy so they should support him.

Imagine having to choose a side in this conflict.

On one hand you have stizzel the schizophrenic retard.

lol @ people thinking Putin has the option of backing out of this right now. He has absolutely no alternative to at least securing SOME victory like taking Odessa and landlocking Ukraine, or taking at least all of Donbas. There is literally zero chance of him walking out of this right now. His ego won't allow it and even if it did, it is a death sentence.

All I can say it is VERY VERY fortunate luck that America is not actively involved in any wars right now. If US were, Putin would arm America's enemies to the teeth as payback. He would arm the Taliban with everything they need to inflict x10 the damage. As a matter of fact, it is probably a good idea for US to never put boots on the ground in any region again because Russia will want revenge for the arming of Ukraine. The stupid military industrial complex won't allow America to rest so I just know that our next war will be as bloody as Ukraine is for Russia because Russia will go all out with military support.
