The 35 year old Bumble Italian guy is totally love bombing me and WAY too enthusiastic about our "relationship" before it even exists and already talking about these trips we are going to take and we haven't even met yet! He just sent a "Good morning beautiful" text. Ugh.

I don't feel comfortable with this. I was love bombed before but it was mutual, and then he quickly lost interest and found someone else, and then rebounded back to me and the story continues. This guy looks a lot like my uncle and my uncle was inappropriate, so it creeps me out. But here I have a younger guy interested in a relationship who had a 4 year relationship with a 50 year old and he doesn't want kids. Shouldn't I be thrilled?!!

There's a 48 year old who is having a more normal conversation with me on Bumble and doesn't act like I'm the second coming, but shows some interest. I think that's more normal.

I've mentioned to you more than once that we are separated but living together. It's fairly common in my area as the median home price is $1.7 million. We haven't been intimate in 16 years and we rarely talk. I moved out 3 times but renting caused us to go into credit card debt to pay rent on top of a mortgage and I missed seeing my daughter every night so I moved back home.

She's off to college soon so we'll split our assets then as I hope to move to a less expensive area.

So it was so we could see our daughter daily, not have her go back and forth between houses and not have to go move into tiny condos that are $1 million. She said she didn't want 2 houses.

My therapist wants me to find a life partner instead of these young guys because they have caused me grief, contribute to my eating disorder to diet to compete with girls half my age and she says that she wants me to find someone who treats me right and will travel and do things with me as I do everything alone. I'm going to Europe alone soon. My husband doesn't say very nice things about me and will call me a loser to my face, but I'm always positive about him to our daughter as I don't think it's good to bad mouth a parent.

no they specifically will not match with people on your friend's list (even if you both are on ******** dating), but they will show you friends of friends and say the friends you have in common. good convo starter if you both click 'like' on each other.

Yeah that's how Tinder was initially! You would match with friends of friends and that helped as I would message my friend to see if the guy was a weirdo or not. I'll check it out.

is there a point talking to girls who outclass you careerwise? a doctor on hinge is receptive to me but will she care that i only make a fraction of her salary and live in a studio apartment? im also not the kind of guy girls are trying to hook up with casually so im not sure if i should bother

unfortunately most won't respect you overtime. you could still hit it if your behavior is on point. but as for a relationship. those sloots generally want a guy of a similar status and education - which they think is important. and which men don't give a fk about.

imo those sloots are hard work and aren't worth the effort - but we don't discriminate here - so we fk them too

That's the point of going out on dates with men my age, although deep down I think I'm still attached to my husband since I met him when I was a teen and I'm scared of a new relationship as that would force me to have to get a divorce, move out and start a new life. It's an unhealthy, dysfunctional relationship.

I'm not blaming others for my eating disorder. It's my own problem as most people don't throw up their food or starve themselves to end up in an eating disorder hospital for 3 months. I'm quite extreme and it's been a problem since I lost weight for our wedding. It's just avoiding certain triggers like seeing younger men, stalking their Instagram and seeing their exes or current girls they're dating and then feeling pressure to be that size. But most of them say it's not my size that they're attracted to, that it's my life experiences and that I don't play games that younger girls do so they like the maturity.

I used to let people walk all over me as I'm quiet and mellow. I've learned through therapy to use my voice and I tell him that he shouldn't speak that way to the mother of his child. But I hear him calling me a loser to my daughter when he's upstairs and that's wrong. In divorce court that's called parental alienation and judges ask parents not to do that, but there's no way to enforce it. Studies show it's not good for the children to have one parent bad mouth the other.

The 35 year old Italian guy sent a cawk pic last night and I said, "eewww gross don't send that" and I ripped on him hard. Now he's backtracking and apologizing like crazy and sending good morning texts like nothing happened.

I knew he was mirroring me. No one has THAT much in common with me. Why do some men act like desperate simps?

I was out with the girls last night at the bars and honestly they are more fun than going out with men. I end up planning things with them and blowing off guys for dates.

Well I talked to my therapist yesterday and she suggested I say to the Italian guy, "It seems like we are looking for different things so I think it's best that we stop messaging each other". It totally worked! He hasn't messaged me since then.

Normally when I try to end it with someone it turns into a huge drama fest that goes on and on with nonstop texts and the guy trying to change my mind.
